It was a good game until this game happened.
I remember playing this game in a pc a decade and a half ago, and it was so cool that I get to build an entire civilization scratch. And when I found this app, I thought, “oh wow, I can relive that time again-build up a civilization and then destroy it with natural disasters” only to be dejected when they took a neat civ builder game and turn it into a RoK clone with several features locked behind a paywall.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with RoK, but if you’re going to brutally murder a perfectly fine and chill offline game and insert money making elements into it, then forget about it!

Too many progression bugs
I have restarted this game a half dozen times because I want to like it but it constantly gets stuck and won't allow more immigrants even though all the requirements have been met. It's far from complete and seems to be run by garbage algorithms just like Facebook 👎🏻

Snags on level 5 in tutorial
Need to upgrade last two houses to level 2. Can’t upgrade because more population is needed. Can’t get more population because upgraded houses needed
Needs Work
I really want to like this game. I do kind of enjoy it but the service area of the municipal buildings is laughable at best. I have 930 citizens and 11 clinics because of the small service radius. This requires so many people to run these facilities that you don’t have enough people for farms and industry. The same is true of the watch stations, fire stations, etc. It really takes the enjoyment out of the game.

Too slow to progress
I loved the look of this as it reminded me of an old PC favourite, Anno 1602. But this is painfully slow — wait for immigrants, wait for upgrades, wait for production to complete goals. It has some excellent ideas - like being able to halve the cost of technology by learning from friends - but I’ve tried it for a few days and the game is just not interesting enough.

I have to say I enjoy the game however the wood ,clay ,stone and the wood carving is not balanced.You can only produce 100 or less at a time and to build you need a ton more then that.I think since you charge so much gold for each building you could change the amount of resources to a lot less then each building requires.Or change the amount we can produce to 1000 instead of 100 and maybe in a month we can build the bigger building.Please look in to it.I think it should be more balanced in order for you to keep players that enjoy the game.

Great Game but Needs some work
I have enjoyed the game as a guest so far. Played about one week but it has some quirks.
1.Some of the tasks and their descriptions displayed on the left don’t match with where they are described. Example: Fountains are in the municipal tab but described as a decoration.
2. I need citizens to grow my city but can’t update homes to get more citizens because the homes are not full. I’m going to try and destroy a home to force citizens into other homes so they can be updated.
Overall a great game but needs some Quality assurance.

Almost a pc experience
Timers really ruin this game, at first I was like this is a fantastic pc like experience but after less than 1hr of gameplay the technology tree and the amount of timers tied to that and the buildings are just super annoying, I’m considering if it’s even worth playing any more.
