I open maple multiple times a day to organize myself and family.
I live for the new Fast feature and have my kids school email go straight to Fast to pull out all the events

Not intuitive
Difficult to navigate, way too many options. Could be useful to offer a tour of features for new users. Recipe box is hidden behind who knows what, very annoying to find 👎🏼
Unfortunately Deleting App
I discovered Maple earlier this year and have been loving it! I use it frequently and it has just been so helpful in organizing my daily life whether that be grocery shopping, errands, cleaning, etc. I loved the layout as it is much easier to organize than the standard notes on my phone. Unfortunately, I am going to have to get rid of it because of the limiting to 3 folders starting January 3. I am a new mom and my family is living off of 1 income for the time being, so we just can not justify paying for another subscription. It’s very unfortunate that the free version will be so limited, it was great for my family while we’ve had it and hopefully there will be consideration to add more folders to the free version so that this app can continue to be accessible for families who need it.

Sounds like Maple has been impactful for you and very sorry to hear this change is causing you to delete the app. Yes, starting Jan 2025 we will be limiting the free plan to 3 total folders. In addition, we are also converting some previously "Plus only" features over to the free plan in a hope to bring a little more balance. We know changes can be challenging and are doing our best to give folks ample time to make the adjustments needed. Glitch
Every time I try to do anything on the Maple app, it keeps shutting down the app.
Terrible new update
I opened the app today and it is basically now unusable for my purposes. Where did my lists go? It has become so frustrating to navigate. I'm uninstalling.
Wonderful App!
This app is a marvel of great engineering snd i have been using it for almost a year. It makes family planning simple, snd easy to see and use. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs an easy to use family planner/organizer!
gorgeous and functional
if you like how notion works, you will love this! the way the information is set up works so well with my brain. i had difficulty connecting the app with my family members but the support staff is so helpful and we got it fixed! the few suggestions i have is what makes me hesitate to buy the subscription. i really want to buy the full version but for $50/year, i’d want more than the ability to see the weather, create an expense sheet, or upload family photo banners. they’re not deal breakers but if the maple team doesn’t plan on implementing anything similar to the below suggestions, then i’d be more inclined to delete.
ability for a “pin board” style tool to post pictures in a grid format. this would be helpful for visual lists, albums, planning, or inspiration.
similar to the previous suggestion — photo galleries! and the ability to upload videos — even if it’s an embed from youtube
link button tools! it would be great to embed spreadsheets, docs, pdfs, etc. or at least create a “button” style tool that opens up an in-app browser
a desktop app!!!
this app is far too beautiful to not have a heavier focus on images or a desktop app! i hope the maple team one day have the resources to handle more image based tools!!

Reverse integration of the calendar. iPhone doesn’t allow maple to keep in its widgets, hence it would be nice to see the list and events from maple in my Apple calendar

Update: the new calendar view is amazing! And I love that I can add family members to my subscription, giving them access to all maple plus tools
Review: Maple has helped us keep track of all our household to-dos, from shopping lists to travel plans to getting the kids ready for school. Having everything accessible on one app for all primary caregivers has simplified our lives tremendously. There is no longer this mad back and forth of texts when I’m at the market, or stressful last minute packing or shopping. One of my favorite things about this app is that it minimizes nagging and fosters teamwork and support. Being able to share everything that has to get done allows the space for partners and other household members to share the workload. And because everyone has access to the same information, it’s easy to keep track of what gets done. The other thing I really love about this app is the new plans tab. Instead of stressing or googling like crazy for kid activities or meal plans, I can easily integrate pre-made plans into my own household channels. And it’s been a pleasant surprise to see all the amazing plans that people have put together! All in all, this is a great app and I strongly recommend you try it out. Thank you!
