  • So much improvement, room for more!

I used maple when it first came out, i wrote a review and subsequently deleted the app and returned to Cozi until recently when I tried the app and found the improvements great, great work on the roadmap productivity, I paid for the app this time and we now use it for about half of our workflow for managing our household- 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 adults and our nanny. The main issue we have is that it doesn’t integrate with Alexa, (though we do appreciate the Google calendar integration so can explore ways to use this in other ways), and because we add all our to do items and shopping items to Alexa lists via the voice commands from devices around our house we continue to have to manually update those before doing anything in maple. I would love to be able to update the app on a desktop somehow as the adults in our family don’t have phones on us that much through the day. I looked to see if there were any API docs to be able to add items to lists via postman but don’t see anything that would make this app more extensible. We like the UI, it’s pretty, the billing is a little confusing for a household as the membership appears to be for a person not a household and I wouldnt pay twice to enable our nanny or husband to access the premium app if I have paid for it for myself.
We are still exploring ways to use the app to streamline our day to day use of it, more integrations would really help here.

Wow, so happy to hear you are enjoying the improvements. We are truly doing our best over here! The integration idea with Alexa is a really cool idea and I'm sure something our team will explore in the future. In the meantime, we have some really really exciting updates coming over the course of the next few months that we hope will continue to make managing day-to-day life way easier. Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It means a lot to hear you can see and feel the improvements we've been working so hard to make.
  • Perfect for getting my life together! Just missing a few things…

This app is perfect for organizing a lot of chaotic parts in life and I have been loving it! Honestly it has been so refreshing to have all the information in one place and keep me on track. Totally recommend the plus version … if you are on the fence try the seven day free trail!

Honestly the only thing it’s missing is getting it comparable to IPad and Mac. The current version for IPad and Mac makes it small instead of filling up the whole screen. Hopefully that is coming soon!

Thanks so much for the review! So happy to hear Maple is having a positive impact on you! And yes... Maple for multiple surfaces is in the works. Hang tight 🙂
  • loving it so far!

paid for the upgraded version for my partner & i to use in our household. i love the app, it’s sleek & easy to navigate + very customizable. i will definitely be using this for the foreseeable future!! and i highly recommend this over other household management apps i’ve tried

app could use a couple small fixes. on my iphone 13 with the most recent IOS, there is a slight delay when i tap on things to make changes. it’ll also pause for a moment before opening the menu i need access to.

i would also love the option to customize text size inside the calendar. i love being able to see the whole month view but calendar items get hidden. so being able to scale down the calendar would be perfect. or having the option to display two weeks at a time on the calendar would also be nice.

but again, i am very very happy with the app. so thank you for making this available!! i look forward to using it more.

So appreciative of your kind review! Very happy to hear you are enjoying Maple and looking forward to sharing some really cools stuff in the coming months!
  • Best home organizing system I’ve found so far

I love this app but I would love it even more if when I clicked on an event on my calendar, it would link me to the correlating To Do list. This would make it easier for me to track my day from the calendar, hour by hour and stay on task instead of having to go back and find my lists. I would also love if I could drag and drop events in calendar mode to more easily rearrange my day if needed. Other than that, this app is perfect and I love the compartmentalization of all the different things I need to keep track of, it helps me to stay organized.
  • Has a lot of potential, but a few features could make it even better

I’m still getting my folders set up and figuring out how everything works. I think this has the potential to really help our family get more organized and reduce stress, but there are a few features missing that would greatly improve functionality:

    - As far as I can tell it isn’t possible to duplicate events or set up a recurring event for specific dates rather than regular intervals. I had to individually set up each day when my child’s school will be closed, for example.

    - I would love to have some way of connecting upcoming events with associated to-do lists, shopping lists, checklists, etc. For example, if I have an event scheduled for a day camp for my child, it would be useful to be able to connect a checklist for items he needs to bring, a shopping list for items we need to buy, a meal plan for lunches to pack, a to-do list to remind me to fill out and print required forms before the first day, etc.

    - It would be helpful to be able to attach pictures to notes in events, checklist items, to-do list items, etc. I may want to share screenshots of order confirmations or QR codes if my husband is picking something up that I ordered. Attaching documents could also be very useful for sharing forms that need to be filled out for camp, school, and other activities.
  • It’s getting there

This app is going to be great for families, especially for ADHD families like my own. My kids love to check off lists. And this is great for getting them to finish chores and check the list.

Here are some things that would be helpful for a family like ours.
    1. When a task is completed, instead of it disappearing, it would be more helpful if there was an option to keep the checked item on the list (or maybe a ‘completed’ list) so we can see what has been completed.
    2. A way to login to our accounts on a desktop computer for easy management while at work or for those of us that use the computer often.
  • Consistently adding new features

I was a Todoist user for years and recently migrated to this more family-friendly app. The design is gorgeous! There are some minor growing pains in the form of bugs and UX, but they are constantly improving. I’m most impressed by how responsive their team has been. I regularly offer feedback about features I would like and they are open and communicative. I like how customizable it is, with options for types of lists, color coding, calendar integration, and adding family members to tasks. Their free version is 100% worth it if you’re looking for a new home management platform.
  • Lifesaver!

This app has changed the way we manage our household, especially since it’s just my husband and I. This most recent update has been a game changer, but has taken a bit of time to adjust to (moving lists to checklists, moving around folders to sub folders, etc). I’m only hoping that sooner than later I can use it on my iPad more easily (specifically just so I can use split screen when I’m meal planning,) and widgets! There are so many ways I could use widgets to fill my Home Screen with all of the different things Maple has to offer. All in all, it’s a wonderful app that continues to improve, so I recommend it to everyone I know!
  • Maple Review

I’m addicted to this app! It’s seriously life changing when it comes to organizing your life and keeping friends and family on the same page. Once you start you can’t stop, I love that I can get all my “todo” lists, appointments, check lists all centralized into one place and eliminate all the notebooks and post it clutter. The cool color coding calendar view makes it fun and viewer friendly. Always trying to get more of my friends on this app because it saves me countless texts and emails.
  • Just what my ADHD brain needed!

Maple has singlehandedly replaced about 5 other notes/to do list/documentation tools in my day to day life. Planning everything from dinner, to a baby shower, to monthly chores and a group vacation has become so much simpler. By easily centralizing dates, links, photos, and tasks, I have yet to run into a customization I needed that wasn’t available. I can also collaborate with other Maple users to easily share lists and delegate action items. I feel so much more organized and prepared from using this app. Can’t wait to see what features they add as they grow! Count me in.
