Yeah, it actually works!
I got my server configured and had to copy files around so this isn’t exactly an easy and user-friendly app, but hey it actually works. I’m very happy. Wish it had a better icon and wish it had support for contexts. But wow.
Almost Perfect
It works exactly as expected. My tasks are now flawlessly synced between devices through an own instance of taskwarrior server. I can edit anything about any task and configure the craziest sorting configurations. I don't care about fancy UI, automatic syncing, and cloud synchronization. This app is a gem.
What prevents Task App from being absolutely perfect to me is a lack of big button in its menu for sending a well-deserved donation to the author.
Still it's my favorite app so far.

No frills client for taskd
It’s not fancy, but it works great. People who have successfully set up taskd with native taskwarrior should be able to figure out how to get this going.
Thanks for making this!

Just what I needed
I was looking for a nice simple native app to use with TaskWarrior instead of a web app, and this worked exactly as advertised. Simple and direct features with a sensible layout and workflow. It is now my primary to do list on mobile!
Simple and effective
I'm running this app using TaskServer on freecinc.com and it's working well for me. I looked at inthe.am and wingtask, but prefer this solution to having my Taskwarrior data on iOS. Thanks!
