Amazing

A great amount of work, money and energy has been invested in order to make this application what it is today. I have been following these guys since the beginning and I am really impressed with the ongoing development of the app which is fun and interesting to use. It takes a bit of time to get to know how it all works but each step has been carefully laid out and explained. If you wish to expand your visualisation and memory skills, this is a great choice to just do that. Give it a try and seriously do the exercises. You won’t be disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised

I was actually suprised at how effective this was for the first lesson. I look forward to seeing its effectiveness on some more practical applications

Awesome memory app that works!

I have struggled with memorization my whole life but finally I have some confidence that I too can recall the things that are important to me!

Good app. Unreasonably expensive.

Very good app, but paying $300-400/yr for a subscription it’s just ridiculous. Therefore I had to unsubscribe.

Hi there, we hear your thoughts and are working hard to make memoryOS both effective and easily accessible. Currenlty, we do not offer any plans at that price, please reach out to us so we can investigate this further! memoryOS is free to join with a robust freemium plan. A Pro-social Use of Technology

I’ve been using this app daily for about a year, and i’ve been absolutely blown away by how much it has helped me in different aspects of my life. It’s helped me be more productive at work, in school, and genuinely improved my relationships—for example, I can now remember peoples names and birthdays! The thing I appreciate the MOST about this app is the excellent support it continues to get. I love to see the ways memory palaces have started the “transfer” system and rewarded loci coins. It has given me a huge memory challenge and project that keeps me logging in everyday. Further, I like the simple “streak” system added just a few days ago. My only suggestion is to KEEP DOING THIS STUFF!! It genuinely has helped me improve my very poor memory and i’m certain it’s helped many others as well. My only suggestion might be adding more little “games,” that bring together learning from previous modules; For example, a game where you have a whole world map and you have to find the countries, capitals, bodies of water, et cetera—I think that would be a great way to bring together all that is taught about maps from previous modules into one practical and fun application. Thank you so much for this wonderful app and I look forward to future updates!

good enough but with really annoying issue

I’m loving this app, and I’ve managed to unlock all rooms of 2 virtual palaces from free loci. But there is a really annoying problem in the “overall” game mode. Medieval palace has 200 objects to place once you unlock all the objects (which is great and so much fun), but it takes absolutely forever to find the object you need in 200 objects spread into screens of 15. I spend almost all of my time endlessly scrolling to find the object. It would be great (and hopefully easy to implement) an alphabetically sorted list or a search function in the object menu. It’s really frustrating because it scrolls slowly and I accidentally hit the wrong object all the time from trying to close or open the menu.
Thank you!

Just ok

I signed up for the lifetime subscription and it still requires more payment to unlock lessons and memory palace exercises. It’s also a bit cumbersome on an iPad to keep moving it vertical to horizontal and vice versa for certain things.
The tutorials are quite good, but it’s also information that can be found anywhere about memory training. There’s no real insight to how he became so successful. Which techniques worked best for him or how many hours did he put into memory training, etc. Maybe they are in a tutorial that I haven’t seen yet. There are a few tidbits here and there, but nothing substantive.
It’s great that they’ve gamified the memory training and it’s fun, but there’s nothing special about this app.

MemoryOS

Awesome app. Slick design, engaging, entertaining, and a very, very effective method of memory training. I read a book on memory training a while ago that taught the same techniques found in this app.
It is like the app brought the book to life where you can interact with the techniques in a fun and creative way that you just can’t get from a book. Love it!!

Awesome

First lesson was eye opening.

Brilliant!

I absolutely love it.. I read moon-walking with Einstein (a story about memory champions), and wanted to start learning, but couldn’t find any easy avenues into this interesting world.. Memory OS is bridging the gap, and making memory skills and practice amazingly accessible! Thank-you.. Keep up the great work!!!
