Will not connect

I have the new iPhone 16Pro and the app will not connect via Bluetooth. Is there a “fix” for this bug?

Not backwards compatible with beds only a few years old.

Be better, Mattress Firm, - make it easily backwards compatible.

No Longer Works

The app worked well until the iPhone 16. I try to open the app and I get an error that it’s no longer available.

900 App

The regular 900 app was removed from the App Store. Please bring it back.

we have had this app for a while and it was syncing OK with my bed. But I got a new phone and downloaded the app and now the Bluetooth does not find the Iflex. I’ve messaged support a number of times and haven’t heard back. Could you tell me what the fix might be? I’v deleted and reinstalled a couple times

The App Does Its Job

Yes, the app works, or at least it does with my iPhone. I had a small headache when trying to pair the base with my phone, and that was because I was trying to pair it via the phone Bluetooth settings vs. the through the app. Since it wasn’t showing up in the phone’s Bluetooth settings, I decided to check the app settings to see if I was missing anything. The app presented a message to first pair a device and, sure enough, the base was listed right there in the app after I tapped “OK” to acknowledge the message. Now that it’s paired, it works just like the physical remote.

How difficult is it to write an app for this that works?!?!

Works well

I kind of don’t get all the negative reviews. Most are a year or more old, so maybe it didn’t used to work.

But it works great if you read the manual and follow the instructions. My guess is most people aren’t doing that and are leaving bad reviews.

There are two things that I don’t like about this. But only one has me knocking off a star. And that is I have to pair my phone to my bed every time I try to use it. I go into the app, click a button, and it says I have to pair again.

It’s not a huge problem because I click on my bed and it works just great again. No turning off and on or unplugging. Just click the bed and it works.

My guess as to why it does this is because I have a split king and it’s giving me the option of which side to control. This is actually a really nice feature, if true, but it’s executed poorly by the developer. You have to know which serial number is your side and click that one.

The other thing that I don’t like, but don’t remove a star for is that there’s no native iPad or Apple Watch support.

Having Apple Watch support would be a total game changer. I wouldn’t have to fumble around in the dark looking for my phone or the bed remote. I’m always wearing my watch, so all I’d have to do is raise my wrist and click a button. That’d be amazing!

So, please! Add Apple Watch support! It’d make things 1,000,000% better! In 2023, there really isn’t an excuse not to have this for your high-end bed frames!

Other than that and the apparent bug with pairing, this app is great.

Update, it got better

So originally I could not connect at all, like most people. My manual had zero info about an app or Bluetooth etc, so it was no help, and then I read reviews here and one guy explained that you need to unplug and then plug back in for the frame to go into pairing mode. Pairing only lasts for a minute or so, and this is when you need to connect. That works and the controls work very nice, buuuuutttt, you can only connect one phone, so your spouse is apparently out of luck. Hope that helps people. Also, not sure if you have to do this anytime the power has gone out, that’s a battle for another day. But clearly mattress firm needs to actually look at these reviews and make a few changes and or instructions for people.
