Shopping List Introducing the MiNoms shopping list. Now you can send ingredients from your recipes directly to the MiNoms shopping list, the Reminders app, or to the pasteboard to be pasted anywhere. Selection Export Now you can export selections of recipes in convenient formats such as MiNoms (importable JSON), HTML, text, and standardized Google supported JSON. This is a great way to backup recipes by section, or send a friend or family member a collection of recipes all at once without having to export them one at a time. Category Tags Tags are now available on the main menu. Now you can pin any tag categories you like to the main menu, so the recipe groups you use most often are more easily accessible. You can now also delete, edit and rename those recipes from the main menu, as well as add or remove recipes from any of those tags. Safari Share On iPhones and iPads you can now import recipes directly from Safari by clicking the share button and selecting MiNoms from the menu. Discontinued AI Assistant Due to lack of demand and OpenAI changing their pricing structure, we are discontinuing the AI Assistant service. Fixes and Improvements Fixed some minor issues, and improved the way ingredient amounts get converted, and images file sizes.

With iOS 16 come new features, most notably the ability to right swipe on recipes in the main menu to mark them as favorites, send to contacts, and to go directly to cooking mode, making these features more easily accessible. In iPad right swipes are disabled when a recipe is selected, but available from the home view Now you can change the ingredient scale from within cooking mode. Click the button next to the exit button and select the scale you'd like to use and the ingredient amounts will change accordingly (premium version only). Mac version now available for no additional cost! Description of MiNoms

Collect and organize all your recipes in one place. No subscriptions and we never collect or share any of your personal information. COOK your favorite recipes with your ingredients and instructions on the same screen, in independently scrolling lists, so you no longer have to flip back and forth. The screen won’t go to sleep on you while you’re cooking and you can check off steps and ingredients as you use them. Also you can check items off each list, or scroll, without touching the screen by using hand gestures recognized by your device’s front facing camera. IMPORT recipes from the internet, then add your own changes and notes. Use your device’s camera, or microphone to import printed or handwritten recipes. FIND your recipes when you want them - you can search recipes by any combination and number of: name, ingredient, notes, rating, favorites, and tags. You can use any number of your own tags to categorize your recipes for easier searching, then you can set those tags as categories that appear on the main menu so they’re easily browsable. SYNCHRONIZE your recipes across all your Apple devices. CONVERT AND SCALE your recipes by any amount in case you want to make a smaller batch or in case you have company coming over. Ingredients can be separated into different groups so recipes with different sections stay separate for clarity. SHARE your recipes with friends and family, or export your collection so you always have a backup (HTML, JSON, and TXT supported) CREATE SHOPPING LISTS from your recipe ingredients and send them to Apple’s Reminders app, MiNoms grocery list, or the pasteboard to be copied to any list app you like. TRACK NUTRITION INFORMATION by serving and by the scaled recipe (requires that the serving size field is set), so you know the calories or protein in the serving as well as in the entire batch.

This recipe organizer is jam-packed with useful features, with none of the annoyances we’ve been conditioned to expect with App Store products. Hurray for MiNoms!! I’ll be telling all my friends and family about it. Thank you, Pete!!
  • recipe manager

Very nice app. does what is suppose to do.
  • And now I can categorise!

Update Feb 24 - update to app is great! Recipes all neatly organised!

I really like this app and have it on all my devices - helpful when you’re shopping! Only thing is I would like to categorise the recipes - mains, desserts, baking etc and can’t see how.

    Developer Response

Thank you for the feedback! Right now the best way to categorize recipes is using tags (from the last tab of the recipe screens), you can add as many tags as you like to a recipe, then once you've added a tag you can search from the main menu for those tags (change the search type from 'title' to 'tag' and enter the tag name). I've been thinking about ways to make the tags browsable, but I haven't worked out the details, hopefully that will come in a future release. In the meantime I hope that searching them will work for now. If you have any other questions or suggestions feel free to email us at support@minoms.com, thanks!
