In this release, we have supported an automatic capture for passports. This new feature allows you to easily scan passport pages for quick and accurate results.

What happened to this app? It used to be great — but now when I open ABBYY Capture, instead of launching the scanner/camera as it used to, I’m shown a screen that says:
“Start Mobile Upload
Scan QR code displayed in ABBYY Vantage or enter Mobile Upload link
Scan QR Code
Enter link”
…with no other explanation or embedded link where I can find out why I need a QR Code or link to scan a document, what “Mobile Upload” means, or learn about whatever ABBYY Vantage is and why I need a second ABBYY product just to make this one simple app work. I’m just baffled.
