Fox Weather, The Very Best in Weather Forecasting. Family Oriented…Covering It All !
The forecasting is just the best. You’re All like Rock Stars of Meteorology, forecasting weather like it’s a “Nothing Burger”. Gee where did I get that ? Britta maybe?
I’m 72 with 2 cats and live alone. We watch Fox Weather almost 24/7.
… Love the Family oriented broadcast and very funny clips,
like Haley Meyer doing the Moon Walk backwards in high heels during the total eclipse, with Nick Koser !!!
And Cheers to ROWI… !
Yet Fox Weather brings “On the scene”, sometimes Heartbreaking live weather tragedies like the horrible flooding in the North Carolina Region. Or tragedies on thin ice.
And what about the Tornado crossing the highway just feet away… And the daily up to the minute travel warnings?
I couldn’t live without you all!
The gents have the best humor and the ladies are all just heart stoping beautiful, but just as sharp and professional as their male counterparts.

Substantial Improvements Made
I did not subscribe last year, but after reviewing your phone app again and also the Fox Weather Channel TV program during Hurricanes Helene and Milton, I realized that significant investment in top-quality talent and resources into Fox Weather now makes this App and Channel better than your competitor, The Weather Channel.
I was impressed explicitly with the on-site coverage of pre- and post-hurricane activity, the education of our weather systems, and the actions of emergency response teams (what they actually do during hurricanes). For example, the Weather Channel had six on-site coverage strategically placed in Florida and Georgia, while the Fox Weather team had 16 covering many angled of the storm and aftermath. That’s total dedication.

And please, one day, please explain to the world about the scientific reason that it’s getting a bit warmer on Earth. Explain the “TILT” cycle and explain that this is a natural occurrence and not man made.
Explain that “termites” produce more methane than humans do and that they out weigh us 1000lbs to 1.
All I am saying is, please keep on giving us science on the weather and just like I tell all my co-workers who have now downloaded your app BTW, that if you want to see REAL SCIENCE, look at the spaghetti models on a hurricane. These models are made by a group of scientists around the world who are attempting to predict where the hurricane will travel. They are not all the same, but they are ALL in the ballpark. Unlike global warming science. You will see a split on the collective thought , because one is using science, and the other is using a political ideology to promote an agenda. They are not ALL IN THE BALLPARK!!
Again, I cannot say enough how professional and committed you all are at Fox Weather to give us real time ACCURATE SCIENCE on weather!!!

Why do they change the UI!?!
(iPad) Every freakin weather app does the same thing. It’s starts off working great and then slowly evolves into something that’s not natural to read. This app was great for a while on the iPad (it’s good on iPhone), but you can tell it’s starting to become a mess in favor of ad placement. Jeeze, all people want to know is today’s forecast and the upcoming 5 days or so. Why did they change the view so that it wraps down like a web page? They waste space on the screen (they can fit humidity but make you click to another page to read it). They include Friday as a weekend day (Sat/Sun is considered weekend even though Sun is generally the start of a new week). When you bring the app to the foreground it always changes to the current day (annoying). Another app becoming a mess. I guarantee within the next few months we’ll all be looking for another weather app (again). Jeeze, it’s just weather, not a complex spreadsheet! Edit: not long after my review, the developers rolled back the UI changes to the previous style. This is so much easier to read. At least the devs listen to their users. I’m changing my rating from 2 stars to 4. It amazes me how convoluted some app developers make a simple weather app. I’m happy that these devs recognize our frustration

Loved this app until the recent update
I loved this app and talked my husband into using it. The radar is great. Everything is much better than the weather channel app. My only gripe is that the last update changed the 14 day forecast to a view that you have to click on to see the both digits of the temp. While I appreciate all the information, I rarely need that. I’d like the option to use the old view with a horizontal graph of the daily highs and lows. I could then click on a day to see more info if I wanted it. If the old view is not an option, please at least show the days vertically a single line to show both digits of the temps.

REAL Weather & News, poor layout
UPDATE 08/24: One of the reasons I loved this app was the weather graph for the 14 day forecast. It was really easy to see the highs and lows for the coming days at a glance. Unfortunately, that has been replaced and you now have to scroll down the page to see what’s coming. For those of us who live in places that get very hot in the summer, the new layout will not show the high temperature for each day. If it is over 100, it won’t fit in the allotted space so you just see 1... This renders the app basically useless for looking at the coming week.
I had the weather channel app for many years, but couldn’t stand how politicized it was and the agendas that were pushed through it. It is a breath of fresh air to have a weather app that is just focused on the actual weather and true news stories. I no longer have to wade through lies and manipulation.

Just Another Weather App
I have had this app for many months now and watch Fox Weather live on TV and my iPhone. Yesterday, the storm coverage and predictions were so far off it should be embarrassing to the National Weather Center, Storm Prediction Center, Meteorologist, and everyone else involved in storm forecasting. The coverage for Wichita, Kansas was completely inaccurate. Schools closed, businesses closed, appointments were canceled and for what. Not one storm, no thunder, no lightning, no tornadoes, no hail. All the coverage was a bunch of fear mongering for clicks and ratings. I’m not saying the app’s technology is any better or worse than any other weather app, it’s comparable. So choose any weather app that’s best for you. What I’m trying to communicate here is that the app for weather prediction is as far off as the weather industry is at serving our communities. It’s become another industry that all Americans are losing trust in as they fail to provide what they promise to their consumer. So just be prepared as our ancestors were and save yourself some time and just walk outside to check the weather.

Best Weather App
FOX Weather is the weather app I would say the best out there. Their long-range predictions are accurate, even from up to 6 months from the actual date! They don’t ruin everything with some new update, and the layout is nice.
The 3D radar feature is amazing. Really cool feature to have, and that’s a feature most weather paid weather apps have! The future radar could use fixes.
It also lets you view monthly historical data, name locations, and watch FOX Weather Live! This weather app I will definitely have for a while.
