  • Doug

AI partner not making realistic bidding. It has bid 7T a number of times without having most of the top cards. Recently it bid 7♦️, I was holding the joker, left and right bower, ace, king, along with 2 smaller trump cards.
    Might need to readjust???

    Developer Response

Thank you for your review. The AI uses an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation to estimate the bid(s) that can be made and their relative values. The AI will compare the expected score of making (or failing) a bid to letting the opponents have a bid that may be made (or may fail). This is a simulation that uses randomness so there are some errors and noise. We have set the AI to bid pretty aggressively by default. Our tests showed that the aggressive AI performed better overall than a non-aggressive AI. You can adjust the bidding aggressiveness in settings. We are continuing to make improvements in the AI.
  • Partner sets us

This is horrible game play. If your partner calls trump and doesn’t have the joker they lead off suit until the joker comes out. Giving opponents a chance to play their small trump. You are set the majority of the time they can trump.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your review. We are working on improvements.
