I love that this app is non-punitive, the graphics/art is absolutely gorgeous (the best I’ve ever seen in a flow timer or really any app for any purpose on the market), the music is so soothing, and I’m even going to pay for an upgrade to get more characters and seasons even though I would normally never pay for apps.Show lesssetphasers2kill
Finally An Original Pomodoro App
I love the idea of this app and hope for more features. I bought the life time version almost immediately because I love the character art coupled with the unique premise.
It's a timer app with characters! There's a sense of you being on an adventure into the unknown. This is way better than some others where you're just collecting tomatoes, or trees. This feels deeply personal. There's brief respits by setting up a tent or bonfire.
I want the following features and will list them as user stories for the dev team.
As a user, I want more resting animations so I can have variety on my break time. Like have my character make smores, fish, show them setting up a tent or fire, reading a book, skipping rocks, etc.
As a user, I want a note section during breaks so I can have a more personal journey I can reflect back on in the future.
As a user, I want unlockable hats for my character to wear so I can customize my them.

Perfect — but one thing!
I recently discovered this app (& I’m using it as I write this!), & let me tell you — I adore it!
I love the little avatar & how it climbs up, & I have genuinely seen such an improvement in the way I study with this.
However, I do have one peeve — & it’s with the music.
I love how we have the playlist option, but I wish we were able to skip some songs with a skip button :(. I love the app & the music feature but sometimes a song knocks me off & I struggle to pay attention until it’s over!
I wish we were able to have a skip or a shuffle button, maybe it’s already in & my app is just glitching— but it’s really driving me nuts haha!

Quick tip!! Aesthetically pleasing
To those wondering how to turn off their phone screen without pausing the timer, create a focus widget on your Home Screen. Then start the focus session in the app. Go back to the Home Screen, then you can turn off your phone. It won’t pause. If you have problems you can press the play/pause button through the widget. That way you can use the Live Widget on your Lock Screen to monitor progress instead of burning a whole in your screen(leaving it on for 6 hours)

Draining my Battery
I absolutely LOVE this app but it drains my phone’s battery because every time I turn off the screen, it pauses my journey and goes into the cute little rest mode where they sit in front of the fire. I can’t figure out how to turn off my screen to save battery while remaining in “focus mode”.HansFernans

Please Add This Feature!
Like many of the reviews this is a great focus app! However it does drain the battery for it be on constantly. Could you please make a feature where we’re able to step away from the app without it losing focus/resting? I want to purchase the life-time IAP but I’m not sure if want to anymore due to the fact it pauses everytime I leave the app. I’m staying fully focused because of the app but not being able to turn my phone off is what’s stopping me from making this purchase.Show lessAi_Rose

Hi Ai_Rose Right now only normal focus mode can support background focusing, with “deep focus” switch on, it will not be able to do background focus. Please try again with normal focus mode 🙏 Thank you very much for loving the app 🥹Love but needs Lock Screen option
Please integrate a Lock Screen option for this app. It drains my battery to keep my screen on just to keep my focus running. I love this app and I paid for the premium version, but I want this feature so badlynconno_

This app will give you a reason to!
I have used it for a couple days now and it’s just something nice to have to keep track of your progress, it tells you the amount of time you’ve done per activity and it also gives you achievements for completing a certain task for a certain period of time. It also has very calming and peaceful background music to revise with. No words as to not lose concentration. If I stick with this app I am considering purchasing the premium as it is a one time purchase of £8
