This allows anyone to scan film in the field or at home using their device as a backlight. Additionally, with a resizing tool, you can mask the illuminated area to only shine directly under negatives. Simply place photographic negatives or positives over the device screen with the backlight enabled, and capture an image of the film with your digital camera, then convert with your favorite negative conversion software (we use Film Lab Desktop and Negative Lab Pro)!
