Bath Walking Tour
We’ve taken many (private) guided tours across Europe but this mode was one of our favorites. You can take in what you want, when you want. The narrations were thoughtful and thorough. The guided map with real-time gps was also great. I highly recommend!! I will definitely be seeking other tours by this App as my go-to.

Not awful, but average and copied content
The tours are paid for and don’t give an option to sample anything other than an intro to the tour beforehand.
We bought the Manchester tour, which was, fine, there were some interesting facts and descriptions but a lot were basic, short and not that interesting, a lot of detailed breakdown of who built things and not much context. We gave up before the very end.
We wanted more information on some sites and looking it up realised a lot of content was a direct copy of Wikipedia. We don’t know where the information appeared first but it means this paid content is just a copy of information freely accessible elsewhere.
Also there were quite a few typos, we still knew what it meant but it adds to the feeling of a lack of detail and thought.
A cool feature of the app is that it detects where you are and information auto-starts when at the location. Shame the content itself wasn’t more original and thought through.

Not easy and not free
Can’t start the tour as it says I need to enter the coupon code I have bought or download it for £6.99. The blurb says tours are free and request a voluntary donation but this is not true. I would happily leave a donation or pay for the tour but I want to see at least a vague route and start point first.
