Thru the Bible App is Awesome!
After listening to Thru the Bible sporadically for the last 20+ years. Never finding myself in the car listening to the radio at the air time of the program on a regular basis. I finally downloaded the app a couple of years ago. It allows me to listen on my way to work. Now when I am off work, I can listen where and whenever I am available.
I am still learning how to use all the tools it offers.
Last Christmas I bought the school bus thumb drive for myself and adult children. Just incase the internet is not available.

Excellent biblical teaching!
I’m not a new believer, but I find that I learn SO much listening to ‘Through the Bible’. I wish I had known about this when I first entered into covenant with Him in 1982.
Dr. McGee delivers these very thorough Bible teachings in such a way that it is easy to understand.
I like it that it is available in other languages. No all countries have the freedom to worship like the USA currently has. Just one listen and you will hear testimonies from listeners all over the world shared in the introduction to Dr. McGee

Excellent - better than podcast player, except…
I love the Thru the Bible app. It is a far easier way to listen to the studies—much easier than the podcast, because in the app all the lessons are available.
Only two things would make it better:
1) Volume increase. For some reason, the maximum volume is less than is available when using a podcast player. No idea why. It’s not a huge difference, but it is enough to be noticeable and it inhibits my ability to hear the messages when I’m in noisier environments and cannot use earphones.
2) Have an option to “continue where you last left off.” This would make it easier to open the app and just start listening wherever I stopped during my last listening session. It’s not a horrible problem, as it the app does keep track of which messages I’ve read and I can find them. It would just make it a bit easier.Show lessSouth OC Bible Walker
Bible Study Anywhere, Anytime
I use to follow the bible bus through radio but found the app better especially if I’m eager to move on to the next chapters of whatever book I’m following. Praise be to God for the preservation of His Word!van_cyuber
Very Nice
The app is improved and very easy to navigate. Having the KJB included for reference in following Dr. McGee on the Bible bus is handy and I don’t have to open a second app or have my physical Bible with me.
Having the choice to listen to the full radio version or go to the Bible Bus section and just hear Dr. McGee’s commentary.
My only complaint is my iPhone doesn’t stay logged into the app, and I have to re-log in. It’s important because if you are logged in the app tracks your progress and it is encouraging.Show lessBrenny0308

Awesomeness
Really love this app and more so than other ministries. Not that one’s better or worse. Just really enjoy the teachings.
I’ve noticed that there seems to be a legacy app in the wild.
For some reason I was able to see two Thru the Bible apps. I think this is the issue some are having in the low score comments. Others might try deleting the app if it doesn’t work and turn your device off. Then try to redownload the app
The only thing that’s aggravating about the app is the iPad version. There’s no ability to run the app in the background app refresh. I’d like to have my iPad open to my notes app during the study. But when the app closes the audio fades off. Please include the option to refresh in background.Show lesscrazyivanov

I’ve been a listener since Jan 1, 2018 by podcast. When the app came out, I downloaded it and loved it. Thank you for bringing the word of God to the whole world in such a wonderful way. Dr McGee’s teaching is superb. Thanks to this app, I’ve been able to complete a five year study of God’s whole word. I now, by God’s grace, I am starting my second five year journey. Great app! Easy to use (Beautiful ministry)
I just love Dr. McGee! I know Dr. McGee is with the LORD and he is still bringing people to Jesus! I would love to meet him someday! Dr McGee helps you to understand the word of GOD with is spiritually enriching. I have southern roots so his southern personality adds to his humor. I do laugh at times of his comments. He tells you exactly what the word of God says and doesn’t water it down. I have felt uncomfortable at times but the word of God will do that. GOD bless thru the Bible!!!Show lessEnglandb
