Missing a REALLY key feature
The idea is great and seems to work well but the app is missing a major feature, the ability to see a dashboard/list of ‘checked in’ people. The checkins can only be seen at user level, which is useless if you want to see how many scans you’ve made or people that are checked in the building.
Happy to adjust this review to 5 stars if they update the app with this simple and ridiculous oversight of a missing key feature.

Easiest way to scan membership cards, coupons and tickets
Super easy to use. I just login using my PassKit username and password and I can scan any kind of pass. No integration with my point of sale required. And I can check in members, as well as give them points and redeem coupons. Very simple to use and really helps me give a better experience to my loyalty card holders.

Pass on Passkit
I attempted to use Passkit and Passkit Reader, which ended up eating three months of attempting to work w them and paying $100 for an Apple Developer certificate. Unless you book out over a week, they’ll offer you customer service help only at 11:00 PM and then not turn their camera on and make you wait 20 minutes while they pretend the volume isn’t working. But you only get one 1/2 hr session free, which does nothing to help you. Want to make a birthday coupon and can’t figure out how bc they’re backend is so not user friendly? Well, just make a birthday coupon. Um yeah. That was their solution. Danny admitted that more resources were needed to give direction to someone who didn’t work there. Attempt to get another service call? That’ll be $200 an hour. An hour. Want anymore email help? They’ll argue about how long you should wait for that (not the published average wait time) but they won’t actually help. Mind you, this is after I onboarded clients. Save yourself the trouble and pass on Passkit.
