  • Please Invest To Fix This App

This app could be amazing. The ideology behind it is great. To see visually where your habits are focused and where they are not is eye opening and can show you how unbalanced your habits are to one area of your life, while another area might be more neglected. The decision matrix and all the features are great but the app functionality is terrible. I found button would not work, the syncing to my iphone would not work. Vasiliy Ivanov, please invest in improving the usability, functionality, and user experience. This app could be a game changer for a lot of people. So much so, that I wrote my first app review in hopes you actually read this and fix it because I wanted to love your app so badly, but I ended up switching to Rise because its design and usage was far more end user friendly. This product feels like an MVP that was never improved.

  • Scammy setup

They offer a free trial- when you select forces you into the annual without the free trial.

    Can’t cancel.

Worse the style of the app is as poorly designed as the purchase scam. Avoid at all costs!
  • Glitches are Unforgiveable

Im on a 2020 Macbook Pro and EVERY TIME a window opens in the app (like adding a new task) that window causes more than half of the screen to be greyed out and the app must be closed to regain full screen. Half the time the edit didn't save. not to mention the work flow hazard this causes with having to close and open the app continuously just to use it. also, when assigning activities to goals, that linkage at somepoint disappears and you hve to reassign activities to tasks multitple times. and then you have to doeal with the greyed out screen for that! its endless. fix this asap.

  • Excellent app but a bit unstable

The APP cannot consistently save the changes. When it is closed and reopened, the most recent updates are not always displayed. Additionally, we are unable to edit the names of the kanban columns. Everything else is excellent.
  • Could definitly be awesome

    **Update**

TLDR; you will spend more time trying to figure out what needs to be done and what was added back in, or if the timer actually counted down properly than doing work.

Let me start by saying this is a visaully beautiful app, but that's where the pros end.

-Items don't update across tabs 80 percent of the time
    -The boards are clutterd.
-The focus tab just doesnt work. Timers end early and have no manual restart, stop or play for 'break' and 'focus'.
-You have to manually add tasks to the focus area that are already in your 'today' on your monthly board
-if you close program items that you finished are back in the to-dao area many times. Primarily I notice this if you mark done form the focus area.
-The timers are absolutly screwy, I used another timer to check accuracy and a 25 min timer will end at random times. Sometimes 4 mins, 13 mins, 8 mins, etc.

    =============Initial review================

A few of the options such as the 'focus' are not very intuitive, and when you go to the website for documention the website is aweful and if there is documention I was unable to find it on the website. There are also many bugs such as the 'edit' option under goals doesnt do anything. You have to delete the entire goal and recreate it if you want to change anything. Still gonna give it some time but I wouldn't spend your money just yet.

    Thank you. Fixed!
  • Very good

This is my favorite habit-tracking app. It's the only one that doesn't force me to assign a day of the week to weekly items that don't have to be done on a specific day. I can mark things done from the notification, and I can select the time interval of the snooze option. No single habit takes up too much space on the screen. I love the simple design.

  • Brilliant app

The app is great! It's very straightforward and easy to learn. I love the sticky option that makes it so I have to interact with a task in order to dismiss it ("Yes" "No" "Remind me in...") instead of just swiping the notification away. My only issue is that there's no way to organize your tasks into groups/folders so it can get pretty messy. I'd like to be able to organize things by "Morning Routine," "Nightly Routine," etc. Otherwise, wonderful app!

  • Surprised

Good so far. I'd like to make a few suggestions though. The first is ideal. It would be nice to see more integration with Google's ecosystem. For example, allowing a link to something like the Keep Second, the ability to have a reminder be "fired" not just at certain times, but, moreover, at certain places and at certain times when at those places. Lastly, it would be nice to add the ability to schedule reminders to fire at specific times of the year, as my winter habits differ from summer ones.

  • Yes

This app may only track habits, but it does so perfectly and for free! Rizen is reliable and predictable; I've never had issues with notifications not showing up. It's local-only, so it doesn't have a syncing or real-time backup, but it's also not another account to sign in to. Its file-based backup and restore work well, and you can also check and uncheck items automatically with Tasker. It's well-maintained by the dev, with up-to-date features like sticky notifications and a dark theme.

  • Excited!!!

Pros: It does what it does pretty well. It's very intuitive. It's a very helpful tool and macOS doesn't have many of them available. Cons: The widgets are oddly non-useful. The main screen of the app itself is an overview of how you're doing on all of your habits. Perfect! But the widgets only show one at a time with no similar bird's eye view. Rather than use a widget, it's easier to just click on the app. What I'd like to see: Syncing between devices, though that might be a lot to ask of a completely free open-source app. Since it is open source maybe someone else will run with that.
