Financial Literacy App with An Ethical Compass
This app makes financial literacy and planning accessible to minorities (women, LGBTQIA+, POC.) It teaches concise and clear lessons, has great financial planning features that support you as you try to attain your financial goals, and fantastic mini-lectures taught by people who represent the diversity it’s trying to make a difference to. It’s even made itself free to address the disproportionate effects cost-of-living and inflation are having on the very community it seeks to empower. Don’t know what I’d do without this app!
This app is amazing—it has so much advice all collected in one place, and a lovely, welcoming and kind community as well!
I’ve learnt so much about money and finances since using the app and it’s really helped me feel a little more in control during a particularly rough financial patch. The advice in the lessons is broken down into manageable chunks if you’re feeling overwhelmed like I was. The way the lessons are structured means that if you don’t know where to start or what to google (me!) you’re led gently through taking steps to financial stability in a gentle way that helps you to really get to grips with your finances. Also the lessons are incentivised with points in the form which you can spend on real items (like a free financial planner book worth £27!!!) or donate to various causes. Indispensable for young people looking to improve their financial situation
I really enjoyed using this app to learn about budgeting, side hustles and investments. I’m a qualified chartered accountant so knew about things like taxes and compound interest, but there were still things for me to learn such as about freelancing and my own attitude to money- it has content for everyone from beginner to advanced! The little quizzes are fun and the content is broken into small chunks that you can dip in and out of. The rewards are generous and I was very motivated to complete the course and log my goals to earn the financial planner and more! I have given 4 stars as there are quite a few bugs that crash the app and spelling/grammar mistakes that could be ironed out, but in essence it’s an indispensable tool for young people looking to improve their financial health.Show lessLouiseyd
Hands down the best app on my phone!!
The title says it all really, this app has been SO helpful in making me more financially savvy and the modules are so informative, you can tell so much care has been given to this app to make it what it is today.
It covers pretty much everything you could think about in terms of finances from investing to budgeting to negotiating pay rises. I especially love the community aspect where I put tips or questions I have on for other users and I also can help others 💕
On top of all this I’ve got a free year trial with Wealthify that I will defo renew and pay for once the trials up and il definitely be checking out Wealthify myself at some point too!!
Even better you can earn avocado points which goes towards actual money rewards. I’ve already claimed a £15 Glossier and Mac voucher!

I tried the app a few months ago and found it really helpful, however, I cannot get past the “before we get started” stage as the continue button is at the bottom of the screen and the app does not allow me to scroll down to click it. My phone and app are updated and the software compatible. Any suggestions on how to fix this? (Then i am happy to change to a 5 start rating ;) )Show lessGhyselda

This app is the perfect education that is missing from UK schools. From how to manage your finances to having your own business and buying property, it has important information on all topics. The Juno team explains everything really well, easy to understand, as well as having small quizzes to do to test your knowledge! On top of that, it has a reward system with variety of goodies available. I'm on my last topic in the app and I can safely say unlike my school education, the knowledge I gained from this is lifelong. Thanks so much to the women who puts this together. Game changing!
Absolutely LOVE this app. I’ve learnt so much in a short space of time. The rewards you can get are amazing choices, have just ordered my Papier Finance Journal (didn’t even have to pay postage and could choose any design I liked!)
A lot of the things I have learnt through this app are things I’m unsure I would have learnt elsewhere.
Also a lot of things I was frightened of now seem much less scary.
I’m using the year free offer from Wealthify but if it gets updated with any new info after my years up I’ll definitely be paying for it.
