Never heard of this app until today when I googled the place I wanted to pick up breakfast from and saw that online orders were taken from this app. I used the web portal, and when I tried to pay, it said my payment was declined which made no sense. I then tried my other credit card and finally my debit card but received the same error message every single time. I would’ve called the restaurant to place my order over the phone, but they don’t have a phone line. So this app was my only way to place an order ahead of time, it wouldn’t allow me to check out, so I ended up giving up and just making breakfast at home so the business and the app ended up losing my money and I ended up disappointed.
Horrible first impression of this app for me.

I was in line and told to download this. Easy to sign up and use. Highly recommend
I’ve attempted to use this at least five times, at different times, with different versions of the app, and it has literally never worked. There are all sorts of bugs, and the cafe has never received my order each time I tried. And before you say “you don’t have the latest version,” I always have, I’ve un/reinstalled, and tried multiple times in a row each time. Once, an Eate rep was at the cafe and took details down from me because he couldn’t figure out the issue. It’s obviously never been fixed (that was over a month ago). I don’t understand how this can succeed when there are so many competitors with far fewer issues.

The Eate TeamThis app definitely has potential once it becomes more widely adopted. I love that you can order food and see the expected time it will be ready. I also like that there is competition in this space to encourage alternatives to the big food ordering apps. This should benefit us consumers so we have more options.
I’ve used a lot of ordering apps in the past this is by far one of the easiest to use! I ordered my breakfast, got notified and picked it up hot and ready!
What a great app used to streamline the process in restaurants. Highly recommend. Cannot wait for it to be available in more restaurants around me!
