The Smart Way to Travel: connectVILLAGES by bus vannin is a unique bus service with no fixed ‘timetable’ instead, it responds to passenger requests and it collects multiple passengers all heading in the same direction. Routes are different each day depending on the bookings made by passengers. The service is designed to improve transport in the north of the Island. Tell us your pick up location, time and where you need to go and this app will do the rest. Once you’ve booked we guarantee you a comfortable seat in one of our Mercedes Benz minibuses. connectVILLAGES will operate between Andreas, Bride, Jurby, Maughold Village and Ramsey. Using state-of-the-art ride-sharing technology, bus vannin connect enables multiple passengers, who are travelling in the same direction, to share their ride, without having to wait at bus stops, or travel on a pre-designed route. We will offer a door to door service and can pick you up from your front door, as long as the location is accessible by the bus. There may be some occasions when we ask that we pick you up from a slightly different location in order to maintain journey times for all users. connectVILLAGES is available for journeys Mon-Sat 09:00-19:00 ConnectVILLAGES uses the same fare structure as the regular bus vannin services: A single to or from Ramsey to Andreas, Bride, Jurby and Maughold will cost £1.90 for an adult or £1.00 for a child.
