Bombarding Ads
While the camera is nice and a good value, this app will drive you nuts with ads to purchase iCloud storage.

App needs work
The app is what really lets these cameras down, it’s difficult to make a simple setting, when you can actually find out how. The front pictures in the tile view images is not even what room the camera is at. Playback is just a mess always winds back to 12am instead of the live time, playback does not show a marking on the timeline when there is activity for outdoor ones unless the app has this as a hidden feature. Cameras are fine! The app is awful !

So bad
I paid for a product yet the app forces me to watch ads. Sad. Got a new router and had forgotten that you have to hover a barcode for 30 minutes up to the camera hoping it reads the barcode yet it never does. No QR code on the camera to scan. Would never buy an Owltron again just because the setup is close to impossible. Even the word “torch” is spelled “touch”, and even the word torch is not what English speakers call a Flashlight

Terrible App
Terrible app. Always freezes, says it’s unavailable or can’t connect. It just never works. Volume never works, false alerts. Just overall so bad. Don’t bother buying the cameras or using the app.

The app just has a cellphone view. Be nice if it filled up my iPad

Privacy issues??
This app will not let you connect devices to your wifi network unless you allow it to access your location… major privacy ‘red flag’.
Great App
I have two Owltron cameras and setting them up with the app was incredibly easy. It’s easy to use, allows local recording, and has a whole slew of cool options that make it easy to customize.
I have also contacted their customer support with the “live chat” feature a few times, and they have been incredibly helpful each time.

Great app and company!
I was lucky enough to stumble upon an Owltron camera when looking for a replacement for my Blink mini.
Their camera was such a step up in features and functionality (including 24/7 local recording) I couldn't believe what deal I was getting, and honestly hadn't been expecting much. But I was surprised at how developed the app is and how much you can do with it.
It even includes a "Live Chat" option that you can use anytime to be immediately connected to a customer service/support rep. I've used it and was again impressed with this company. So much so that I've decided to use all Owltron cameras, allowing me to just use this one fully functional, yet easy to use app, to view/control everything.
