My dad and I downloaded this app as a part of our Outer Hebrides tour. This augmented reality gave us a great tourist stop with a decent hike, and felt like a respectful way to gain a museum experience in protected land.mandy_mci
Excellent App
The app is excellent. It really helps bring to life the remains of the ancient sites.
Top tip for other users….. We did have problems getting one of the sites to scan because cattle had been scratching themselves against the post and hair from their coat was wound round the nails holding the QR code in place. This stopped the scanner working. It took us a while to realise what the problem was but once we pulled the hair away the scan worked immediately.Show lessAldus P

Highly recommend this app for anyone visiting Uist, slick and user friendly design, full of really useful local tips (not just for archeology).
