Sometimes you don't know how much you need something. Until you do.
I was working in my garage when a fall from a step ladder caused my shoulder to dislocate (an injury I have sadly endured a couple of times before).
Fortunately, my wife had the GOES app on her phone and was able to pull up the dislocated shoulder section. There were step-by-step instructions that were easy to understand and allowed me to deal with the situation myself, preventing a trip to the emergeny room! A dislocation in particular can get very painful and tricky to handle when it's not dealt with right away.
Super grateful for the app and service to help get me out of a precarious situation quickly.

Incredible to see the inner workings of wilderness medicine doctors’ minds technologically transformed into an app. And making it all accessible when off the grid. Unbelievable! I’ve been practicing wilderness medicine for 20 years and have never seen a resource like this. Get GOES in your pocket.

Used GOES to gauge how safe it would be to snowshoe in Desolation Wilderness outside Lake Tahoe, CA. It gave me great insights and what to look out for due to the iciness of the snow.
