Woody is an amazing ‘story teller’. All of the facts are 100% real, detailed (respectfully of the victims) and keeps me going when I need that little extra motivation. His stories come from a mental journal of sorts from when Woody was fresh on the patrol team as a street cop all the way through to him working as a detective. He gives great detail and the best part is it’s 98% unscripted with the exception of reading statements provided by suspects and or victims! I love that he has his own app, with tons of great little extras i.e trivia of his shows, other excerpts of murders/crimes that you can read when you’ve run out of episodes to listen to. You can even interact with Woody and other fellow TLRC Junkies like myself. I can’t get enough of Woody’s stories but what has REALLY has made me love Woody as a loyal, respectful, devoted, loving and caring retired detective is that he even uses his own spare time to help families that have hit dead ends in a case of a missing or murdered lives one. When justice fake and he feels there is injustice to the victims and the families he will “put boots to the ground” and help the families get their loved ones names back out there in the public, or sometimes when he really feels he needs to help- he will pull out all of his knowledge and resources and actually help the families GET JUSTICE. He’s helped the detectives of a couple I’ve cold cases, find the evidence needed to bring justice to the families and most importantly the victims. PLEASE TAKE RLRC ON YOUR DAILY GRIND, I PROMISE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Real Life Real Crime app is absolutely the best
I found RLRC podcast while looking for new true crime to listen to. Woody was the best find ever so I also started following him on all the social media’s. When Woody announced this RLRC app I was ecstatic because it’s all the social media wrapped in one. Woody tells stories that no one else is telling because they are his own stores from his days on the force. If you want to hear a real down to earth man giving you the best stories you need to download this app! The app is so much more than just stories, you also get real interaction with the man himself, Woody Overton, who in my opinion is the best story teller in history of podcast.

Best App For Real Crime
Woody and his crew deliver true crime stories based on firsthand experiences, which is unlike any other podcast out there! The app is amazing and includes more interaction than any other app. It also allows you to discuss the episodes, shop merch, and with a subscription there’s even MORE content and activities. I’m from Louisiana and it’s remarkable to have someone from a neighboring parish create an incredible platform describing his service to our state and choosing to help others get justice, simply because they deserve it! Can’t get enough!
I stumble across this podcast in search of a true crime show that offered more than the someone else’s perspective or research. No need to look any further; RLRC has it all. All their hard work, passion and their attention to detail shines through in every episode. My absolute favorite about this podcast is the rawness and dedication Woody has for each story and being so down to earth; willing to stand up and advocate for those and their families who no longer have a voice.

Best podcast and community
Woody is the best story teller. His real life experiences as a detective Louisiana are told is a uncensored podcast. If you are a fan of real crime this podcast is for you. Woody is funny and I started listening and was immediately hooked. He has helped solve cold cases and active cases through using his platform and taking in tips from the listeners. This is my favorite real crime podcast by far!

This is an awesome App! Woody Overton DELIVERS with his storytelling on REAL situations he has witnessed as a seasoned detective. He has a way of bringing a visualization to each story he tells. Raw and unscripted, factual and fabulous!

This is absolutely the best app ever. If ur interested in crime/murder like me, u need this app. I’m just sorry I didn’t find it earlier. I was jumping from one show to another until RLRC!! Woody knows how to tell a story and not bore the listeners. Thank u woody and ur whole team. #1
