  • Goated sports card app.

I love Center Stage! I enjoy keeping up with all my cards, and being able to buy and sell cards on the app. I have been using this app for over a year, and I really love it! I love how this app has albums that you can separate your cards into. This allows me to sort my cards into sport, team, or player, and see how much those groups of cards are worth. I have never had much trouble using the app. But, the “For You” page has been getting stuck on the same things everyday. This started happening around the time of the last update. I thought that y’all should be made aware of this. Thx for your time. God bless.

  • Subscription = bad for casual collectors

The app works ok. No consistency or continuity of card naming and collections. It pulls from eBay, so the same card could be listed 6 different ways. It recognized most cards, definitely not worth the subscription.

The biggest issue is the most recent update that put a 100 card limit on free accounts. Well I was already past that. I’m a casual collector, so I’m not gonna pay nor get my moneys worth. It’s bad for casual collectors. Other similar apps have done this too and it’s frustrating. Users are providing value and input into the algorithm and still have to pay? I understand apps gotta make money, but it pushed me away and have deleted the app. My recommendation: make us watch some ads to adjust the upload limit. I’ll move onto some other card scanning app.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the message. It hurts to hear and I can understand the frustration. We've been offering the app for free for close to 3 years now and nearly a million users have scanned hundreds of millions of cards. We've tried numerous ways to keep it totally free. Unfortunately, we've not been able to find a formula that works. This is why we rolled out the new membership plans. We're hoping that our most avid power users are open to supporting us to keep the app available, because we've been trying to help the hobby as much as possible. If you've been a fan of Center Stage and we've enhanced your collecting experience, we hope that you can support us. Please note that this is not a greedy money grab. The vast majority of our users can continue to use the app for free. If you need to find another app, I sincerely hope you can find one that elevates your collecting journey.
  • Great idea if it actually identified players

A great idea for an app, however, this one is very hit and miss. For example, I tried to scan Paul George of the Clippers from the Select 23/24 set. It kept on pulling forward the data for Victor Wembanyama.
Tried taking cards out of wallets, moving light along with other things in case the light was reflecting and nothing. Just constant incorrect results.

  • Could be big

Great concept. You can catalogue your collection and see current value of cards. Works well if you know how to get the master copies thru the search box. Looking forward to improvements. So far so good.

    Satisfied user right here
  • 5 stars

It’s a really nice way to organise your cards and it’s free
The other ones I looked at you have to pay
  • Great App

Recently saw a video about this app and immediately got it. This app is great if your looking to get into card trading
  • terrible

FIRST OF ALL YOU NEED TO SIGN IN?!? WSENT LUKE THAT WHEN I WAS HERE LAST YEAR! fix this.
  • Sticking with it for now

Been searching and searching for an app that lets me easily create a database/keep track of my sports card collection digitally. Sticking with this one for now and paid for the $2/mo subscription. I’d say I’ve found 85% of my cards so far using the picture/scan and search bar. I’m not interested in tracking market prices or valuing the cards so linking it to eBay or whatever it’s using is the most annoying part.

Desperately needs an upgrade to Let users input or correct card Info and input their picture for cards that you can’t find having the app search for you. You Can’t always find card with the right grading company, right variation, number, etc. One of One or Low serial number cards are not going to be on there. So They are all missing from my collection on this app.

  • It’s a great app but could use some tweaks

So far this have liked using it. My only issue is that when you search some cards it takes more than a few tries to get the card that you take a picture of. Half they time it gives you a random sports card. For example when trying to look up an Eli manning auto I have from 2004 it kept giving me hockey and baseball cards before my t finally gave me the correct card. It seems to do that a lot and sometimes takes multiple tries to get the correct card to show up.
