It’s a good app but sometimes cards like Jaden Ivey rookie autos go for something like 5 dollars or it’s virtual card and the price isn’t accurate but that happens only sometimes
  • Ok so far

A huge hit or miss when card scanning. Lots of potential but definitely no where close to desired results. The app scans the cards quickly but also with 85-95% errors.. especially with older cards. I also wish there was a way where we can filter sports category so only specific sports would pop up when scanning. This app def needs lots of filtering options in order to make this app more user friendly. Many other suggestions have already been suggested so I don’t feel the need to repeat it again. Please PLEASE PLEASE!!! Do not charge for this app as this is nowhere close to perfection. Like others, I do not mind paying $4.99 for this service if it actually provides great data results .. but at this time .. there are so many data errors.. if there was a charge to use this app.. I would immediately del this app. Love the potential.. and hoping to see great developments from it.. I think we are all waiting patiently.

Sorry to hear that your experience with the app has been disappointing. Generally, when collectors get the hang of the optimal angle and lighting condition to minimize glare and reflections, the AI is way more reliable in terms of its accuracy. We're continually working under the hood to make it better, but please let us know if you have any more feedback by emailing us at feedback@centerstagehq.com.
  • Needs to be a paid app!!

I’m going to be honest, please charge for this app!!! Then hire the appropriate people to make the changes we are asking for. I understand you are a small group and the app is free but for $4.99/yr you could hire a team to really make this app the best in the hobby. I don’t know anyone who wouldn't pay to have a card scanning app that had all the necessary features. The hobby needs it, badly. You’ve done an absolutely amazing job for free, now let’s take it to the next level!!

  • Keep improving!

Downloaded this app a few months ago, thought it was decent but it wasn’t what I was looking for.. Needed something to get the value of all my cards and store them into a collection.. You’ve done it! I re-downloaded the app couple months later and it’s lookin’ great. Just keep it going! Don’t stop with the updates.👍🏼

  • Great idea but more work to be done

I like the app that it’s quick to search cards. A couple things I’ve noticed is that it sometimes takes 4 or 5 times before it gets the card correct. Wish it would give you options as far as variations to select. One card probably took 10 times before it got the parallel right. Another thing that I wish they would fix is when it finds the card that you could select Raw or a grade even if there is no sales history on it. A couple cards didn’t have any way to add it to your collection. If they fix that it would be much better. I’ll keep checking back to see if there are updates in the future.

Sorry to hear that you've had issues with the app. We have a quick page on our website with some tips and tricks to help maximize the accuracy: https://centerstagehq.com/faq/ Depending on the lighting, clarity, minimization of glare and reflections, our app should identify the card right the first time once users get the hang of it. As for your other feedback, we're cleaning up the database to have more comprehensive entries as well enabling users to submit cards for review as well. We have a very small team with limited resources as major hobby underdogs, so please stay tuned to our IG account @centerstagehq about update announcements. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
  • Needs improvement

It’s great but we need to have a better way of pulling things from eBay most cards pull but a lot of new cards do not pull and all of the listings and things bought are at least a month old even if newer ones have been bought. But again it’s great overall
  • Beware! You an’t trust the data and prices!!

I’m really disappointed in this app. If you’re going to show pricing then you better make sure it’s actually accurate. The problem with this is it shows your prices but then you have to dig deep and cross reference with other pricing apps to make sure it’s actually correct because this app rarely pulls in current or relevant recent pricing, I love how fast this app identifies the cards but that’s really the only value it has. Do not use this app to price your cards or you will end up losing money because the data is just not accurate or current. It’s like their data access to eBay and other sites was blocked and they can no longer get current data.

Hi, Just for clarification, we only show prices from completed/sold transactions on marketplaces. We don't provide any estimates or averages, and users can click on prices marked in blue (which indicates they were in the last 90 days) to open a browser window directly to that corresponding transaction. We also encourage users swipe through the card results carousel to find the entry with the most recently completed transactions as well. We get data from multiple marketplaces many times per day using machine learning, so our AI can recognize cards as close to release day as possible, as long as they've been sold on a public marketplace. Hope that provides some clarity, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at feedback@centerstagehq.com. Thanks!
  • Great idea, needs a bit more development

I really enjoy the idea of the app. It just needs a bit more development and improvement. Here are my suggestions. Most of which I see other reviews mention so I know I’m not alone.

    - allow me to add cards to my collection regardless of if there is a price attached to it.
I scan a card, find a match, then it prompts me to add to collection but when I click, it doesn’t add. This is quite frustrating.

-The ability to manually enter card specs to help build out the data base. I have a lot of 2022 cards that don’t seem to register at all. I have a Caden Clark /50 gold that I find posted on eBay so I’m not sure why the app can’t find it. I’ve changed lighting many times but can’t seem to get it to register. I wish I could just manually enter it.

    - The ability to input and track what you paid for your card as well. Maybe you didn’t buy from eBay so there isn’t a recorded price but you purchased from a local shop, fellow collector or another app that isn’t being tracked. Even if this data isn’t used to track value of cards, it allows the user to track what they paid so in the future they can decide when to sell it if the value has spiked.

Overall I enjoy the concept, just needs better execution. Lots of my cards don’t register and I know there are comps on eBay and other places so it gets frustrating when I look up a soccer card and get base ball and basket ball.

  • Awesome App! One request

I love this app. Quickly and accurately finds the card you scan and gives the eBay sold history. Great for creating a draft in your eBay account to finish later. Only problem with this is I can’t get back to the Center Stage app after I “Save for Later” in my eBay account. I always gotta close the app entirely and start it again. I’m sure it will be fixed soon but that’s my only problem so far.

  • Wont read any card

Nothing pops up when I’m trying to price a card. Doesn’t read any card I have.
