Ads Intensified!!
No doubt they have to have ads. I get it, but Wow that is a Lot of ads. Not only are the ads numerous the game is slowed down all the time. I get the need for ads but this way over the top. Plus, if you are going to have ads, try some different ones sometime. The same ones over and over don’t do any good. The game itself is great. It’s fun challenging and different than others. But having to fight the ads every 15 seconds is extremely annoying.
Actually went back and timed it. Game took an average of 32 seconds to place an ad. But also locked up 3 times during the game. Also had to restart it once and lost progress.
If the game didn’t lock up a lot, I might keep it. But can’t stand it locking up all the time and continual ads combined. It’s a bad combination. Back off in the ads and maybe it won’t lock up as much. But it certainly isn’t working this way.Show lessShoeless1966
Can’t play anymore
I literally can’t play anymore. I lost all 3 of my lives (very stupid concept) and they 59 minute timer doesn’t move and when I try to watch an ad it says as unavailable…. So I literally can’t play even if I wanted to. Revert this update…. Lives are so stupid you’re stopping people from playing your game. I’m on level 1015 so I’ve been playing this game for a LONG LONG time but this update has made me want to quit. Considering I can’t even play I probably will…… I’ve read all these reviews and every single one is saying this new update is horrible so my question is why not just revert?? I see you respond to everyone’s comments but don’t give me some political answers. Just answer to everyone why you won’t revert your updates
Update: still can’t play….. after 1000 levels and over 12 hours of playin this will be deleted. If you don’t want us playing your game just say it lol but this new life system is HORRIBLEShow lessTon3452353

Do NOT let your kids get this game!
1. The first few ads were fine, then a +17 ad comes on. Thankfully I play-test every game before my kids get it. I wouldn’t want that ad shown anywhere, not in my home, at work, or when my wife walked in the room. It’s trash.
2. It is very poorly coded: my iPhone 12 gets very hot after just a few levels. It’s like playing COD mobile or Fortnite in terms of resources used. Takes the phone charge down very quickly too.
Lastly, they say they want $5 for this app… they don’t. The frequency of ads on here is so bad (1-2 per level when you start, 2-3 per level as you get into it) that it takes away from both the playability and fun of the game. If they’re running ads properly, then they should be making $5/week or more for everyone playing the game
In short: do NOT bother to download this “ad channel” (it is disguised as a game, it has a game name, and can be played, but there are more minutes of ad time than game time).Show lessDidaktos
Way to many ads
So many ads that it Interrupts gameplay in what feels like 30 second increments. Fun game but not worth the irritation. Actually wanted to break my phone because of the constant ad interruptions and freezes. Deleting this app and I don’t recommend it. Also noticed while reading through the reviews that the developers are giving the same exact generic responses that they were giving months ago. Seems like no plan improve this game. Just cram more ads in and limit gameplay. I assume they are also doing nefarious things with our data because this is the only game that makes my phone overheat and I have game that should require way more computing power than this. But hey, if your interested in a “nsfw” kingdom game ad then you are in the right place.Show lessChiver?
Used to be my favorite game
I used to love this game, even with the ads that did pop up (you could close them after like 5 seconds) But now you’ve added a “lives” limit? And you start off with 0 lives, and have to leave the game open for an hour to get 1 life? Or be forced to watch an ad for lives? Having an ad pop up is one thing, but forcing an ad on us to even start to play is really underhanded. Your ploy to get more money is going to backfire really quick, cuz your entire fan base is about to delete the app off their phones unless you fix this fast…
Edit - just set a timer for two minutes and left the game open, and the “59:00” timer never updated, so it looks like the only way to even get a life is to watch an ad. Way to screw over your loyal players 😡Show lessJMylls

They have now added lives for no reason making you stop play after so many times. That and of course ads that interrupt the game are ridiculous.
Get rid of the lives and the majority of the ads.dnirvine

I normally don’t review games too much. This game was awesome. I just deleted it after level 70 or so. I had it for almost a week but my phone kept freezing while playing it and as others have mentioned it has SO many ads. Like others I actually don’t mind ads too much, if 1. They are appropriate and 2. Aren’t too many.
I am not advocating for 0 ads but they have some inappropriate ads and they have an ad almost every time you acquire a new tower (during the game). This is my first time in any game where they actively disrupt you playing the game without you proactively choosing it for a power up or something.
I’m hoping there will be a happy middle ground at some point but maybe the strategy is to hit you with so many ads that you have to do the paid upgrade. I almost did the paid upgrade but with all the glitches in normal play I felt like I might be wasting my money if the ads weren’t the reason the game was freezing.

I’m currently at lv692 and although the levels have recycled, it’s not a bad game to pass the time. Although since the option of Player to Player has become available I have found it more challenging and have ranked up twice but not without losses lol.
(I do think there should be an option to upgrade speed or attack with earned coins NOT purchased (as that would spoil the game for us that like to play without spending real money to keep up).Show lessBu1l

While I understand the concept of adding lives to the game as a way to set it up for in app purchasing, doing so without a way of adding more lives, or getting rewarded extra lives for accomplishing certain things has made the game almost unplayable. As you progress the levels get harder and the strategies needing to be employed more numerous. With only 3 lives it could take a day to figure out the correct strategy for a level.
I watched more 3x speed ads than I care to admit to beat individual levels as I have progressed but without a purchase option for always on 3x speed or extra lives certain levels become exceedingly difficult to beat.Show lessDJShortyG
Too many ads, but there’s a solution…
I know there’s too many ads, with 1
to 2 during a level, depending on how long it is, and the starting and ending ones, but you can prevent all four from popping up by going to settings, turning OFF WiFi and turning ON airplane mode. It sounds crazy, but it works. The gameplay and animations are really good in the game and there are so many levels without repeats. There’s some challenging ones, which makes it more fun.
