  • Fast easy way to color grade videos

So many videos you see on the web look amateurish even when the camera work and editing are good. Why because there is no color grading to keep the video clips looking consistent. Color adjustment even for still photos takes skill and for video it takes skill and advanced software. All this is especially true for underwater imagery where the colors are always wrong due to effect of water depth impacting different colors.

This app does a decent job of making color grading easy. I can do very basic color grading with high end software but it is very time consuming. For simple projects AquaColorFix is good enough. For tropical waters is adds too much red but that is easily adjusted using the unlabeled topmost tool.
  • Not Intuitive at All

I'm using the free version and wanted to like it and buy the Pro version. But, it is a very frustrating app to try to use.

    1. Choosing Images - Can't you please make it so I can choose what drive and folders I want to choose from instead of only providing Photos as the source. I opened the app and it is showing me photos that aren't in my Photos on my Mac.

    2. Saving - Please create a way to save the cleaned-up images to a folder of my choosing such as creating a new one.

    Thank you
  • Excellent no fuss color correction.

It really works good. Get it.
    Cheers!
  • Don’t Buy

Color is basic standard and doesn’t account for true variations. Example: something orange is changed to pink. App only allows you to upload from a specific location as it uploads ALL photos. Emailed for support MULTIPLE times and got no response. Costs too much to have to deal with these issues and not get any help to resolve a question. Do not buy this.

I don't know what you are referring to when you say the app uploads all photos. It doesn't ever upload any of your photos or videos anywhere. All editing is done on your own device.
  • AMAZING!!

My husband and I went Scuba Diving and were disappointed in our underwater pictures. This app brought our adventure back to life! Thank you!
  • why can't i save it

cant download or save the actual edits off the app so it's useless.

    Developer Response

You can save edited photos to your photo library by tapping the icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. For videos, the process is the same, but you would first need to purchase or subscribe to our Pro version to unlock the ability to save videos.
  • Excellent software with one major flaw.

The quickness and power of this software to color correct is mind blowing.

The only flaw…the photos or videos must be in your iPhone/Mac photo account. Most people don’t use their phone in a dive case nor would they risk it being 30-60 foot underwater.

Developers, please make this software have the ability to access hard drives and external drives! Once you do…Wow!
  • Ridiculous you can't access your other folders

I shouldn't have to import everything into the Photos section, give us the ability to access any folder.
  • Looks Promising But...

Where is it pulling photos and video from? Would love to test it out but can't find a way to load video from my hard drive.

    Developer Response

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Photos or videos need to be in your Photo Library in order to access them in AquaColorFix. If you have photos or videos on your hard drive, you can add them to your Photo Library by first selecting them, then choose File, Share, Add to Photos.
  • App works great and doesn’t collect data

What’s there to not love about this app?
