Easier than AirDrop
I’m blown away by the user experience in this app. Just by installing the `kdeconnect` package on my desktop, I could find my machine and pair within minutes. The UI is laid out cleanly and uses Apple’s native design principles, so it feels like a stock app.
Meanwhile, on my Macbook Air, I constantly need to reboot both my laptop and phone just to use features like clipboard sharing and AirDrop! This has been an issue ever since macOS Catalina.
The KDE team made iOS integration that “just works” better than Apple could, and I can’t recommend this app enough. It works on any linux setup, but I run KDE Plasma and it’s beautifully integrated.

Amazing
Thank you for taking the time to include ios users in the kde connect workflow.
This could be the final nail in the Microsoft coffin for me!
I’ve been waiting so long for iOS support on KDE Connect and it is finally here! Now I can sync my phone to my gaming desktop and not have to rely on Apple or Microsoft to make it happen! Keep up the great work guys/gals!
A fantastic effort!
No, it’s not the same deep integration as you can get with an Android device, but being able to send files and photos, as well as my clipboard from my phone to my Linux laptop is just outstanding.
Hello World! Stay konnected :P
This project has been in development for a long time, beta tested for about half a year, and a decently working initial release is finally out on the App Store!
No software is ever perfect, but being an open source project that everyone (yes, including you) can contribute to, I believe the amazing KDE community can continuously improve this app and make it the best thing since sliced bread.

Response from developer
Good job to myself 🐾 and the team 👏
This could be Awsome
I’m super exited to see a Linux connect app available for iPhone! It’s quite well designed and I can’t wait to see some more features. I’d especially like to get notifications from my phone on my computer. Keep up the good work
Finally!!
Have been waiting for this for a long time!
Good, but needs more work
Suits almost all of my needs, still needs a lot of work thought. The dev team seems to be making good progress.
