Won’t even open anymore
I’ve had this app downloaded and running in the background for a little over a year now. After some time i decided to remove it from my home screen to declutter. I just decided to open it for the first time in a few months to check how much i’ve acquired through background activity. Well, i click on the app and get nothing but a blank white screen. I left my phone unlocked with the app loading, or so i thought, for literally 20 minutes with full signal wifi strength and nothing loaded at all. Tried again on 5g cellular and still nothing. The rest of my apps are opening and loading just fine, so not sure what’s up with that but would be nice to know i will still be getting paid for the data i’ve been willingly handing over for the past year.marg.shea
Not worth your time
I’ve had this app for over 7 months and only made $2.59. You cannot cash out until you reach $65 and even then many reviews state the app kept them from being able to cash out. It would take me YEARS at this rate before I could reach the threshold for a cash out. I like the idea of this app but it completely drains my phone battery from running in the background and does not pay adequately for how much you need to run, open the app, and tap on pop ups.
Update: I’m deleting this app. I’ve realized this has been causing most of my battery drainage throughout the day and caused my phone to glitch (gps doesn’t work). I’ve only made $0.02 since my initial review.Abigail294
Issues with pay
I downloaded this app to get paid for my data. It says that I have automatic payout and will it allow me to change it. Also, I was supposed to have a payout last month, but it never showed up in my bank account. We will see if support actually responds. I’m not too happy with this so far.
Update: I’ve been told that the threshold has changed and I’ve waited for my funds to get to that amount. I have more than the amount needed for the funds and still haven’t received my pay. I’ve contacted support and it’s been 3 days with no response. This app is not worth my time or my battery life. I will be deleting this app. Changes need to happen to make it legitimate.Deeshemmom
Dont ever expect to get paid
Poor customer service, used to be better. I have had this app for 3 years accruing a balance I have earned over $100. In that amount of time I was paid once after complaining as to why I said customer service was better. That’s when the payouts were set low and you could cash out after earning $20, suppose to be paid automatically but I have never been paid without complaining to though. Now payouts are set “automatically” after you hit $65. Well I have been over that for nearly half a year. Still waiting to get paid so I can uninstall. They have a stipulation if you uninstall the app you won’t receive your money.#382229
Scam
This app seemed promising was even able to cash out once before they started the games of we changed our policy and now you need this to cash out which I’ve completed and have now been waiting cash out for well over a year and have been promised and told over and over again I’m on the next batch of payments I’m on priority list yadda yadda they repeat the same lies they have told me almost verbatim a year ago about why I haven’t received my payment yet they are a scam and steal your data without payment do not download I’m collecting everything and will be seeing about the next step in my complaint against this company owed just under $100 in cash out and now my app isn’t functioning properly like it’s frozen so I can lose all my funds by not completing an action in 7 daysDave-O-86
Doesn’t pay out.
I have been with Tapestri since they launched as I really loved the premise of the app, getting paid for our data. However, I have yet to receive any payout even though I am now well over the threshold. I have contacted their customer support and got told to wait a month and that they were having issues getting their payments from their customers and that I would get paid once they got paid. Doesn’t instill confidence in this business that they can’t pay out until they get paid. That is not how it should work and not what I agreed to when signing up. It has been several months now and still no payout. So just like every other company, they take my data and profit off it while I get nothing. Don’t bother with this app.Surfmonkey76
Still learning
I am still learning how to use it not only do they pay you I get to watch what a good driver I am they analyze your driving and they let you know how good you’re doing and then they offer you to lower your insurance they watch you drive they tell you which insurance agent is going to take you for cheaper money and you’re not being bugged all day buy them trying to sell you something you go and you get insurance on your own timenonnie boo boo
Pretty sure this is a scam
I downloaded this app almost a year ago (August 30th will be exactly 1 year) and have NEVER even received a single payment. I’ve been at the $20 threshold for quite some time now. I’ve also noticed my balance will randomly get a couple dollars lower every few months but still no payout. I emailed them in either February or March of this year about never receiving payment and I got an email back stating they were growing quickly and payouts were taking longer than expected and would be paid out to everyone by the end of May…which would have been totally fine…if it actually happened. I then received an email on May 26th stating I was eligible for payout and that it would be finalized and then I would get an email when it was completed. Lo and behold I still haven’t received a payment or an email. I sent yet another email to support on June 24th regarding my missing payment but no response yet. Safe to say I’m disappointed. I like it, but…
I like the earning part for just sharing or small surveys (some hard to collect on) but I’ve never figured out how to get paid. I mean it says it’s automated on the 20th of each month if you have over $10 but I’ve yet to get anything. I know they have changed was to pay recently but still nothing. And it’s so hard to contact them to ask questions, my money is still in my wallet so I just let it keep slowly growing hoping one day it’ll work itself out and I’ll get paid!supermansgirl73
I used to love it!
I have been affiliated with the Tapestri app since before they launched. I was excited about it. I shared my excitement with friends and family, some of them joined along with me on this journey. After the app got up and going, and I had all of my settings to allow constant tracking, I was bringing in approximately $25 a month. Since this latest update, I have not been able to make one dollar for the whole month. They charged me my $20 annual fee, changed the way they do payouts, and here we are. I am wildly disappointed. I will absolutely not recommend it to anyone I know until this gets fixed.Slpngbyuty
