Pro/ Cons
The app is generally user-friendly and integrates well with the XBot Camera, offering decent performance. However, one key area that could greatly enhance the user experience is the control functionality. Currently, the reliance on the remote limits the app’s convenience and effectiveness.
Suggestion for Developers: It would be highly beneficial if the app could support a unified login system that allows seamless control from other devices. Being able to operate the XBot Camera remotely using another device logged into the same account would be a game-changer, making the system much more versatile and eliminating the need for the physical remote. This would provide users with more flexibility, especially when managing the camera from different locations or on the go.
Overall, adding this feature would elevate the app’s practicality and usability for a broader range of scenarios.

Suggestion
It would be great if the camera while recording could be locked in a horizontal setting so that when people walk in front of the camera at hockey rinks the camera does not focus down and track them.
Have a max pan angles for up and down too.

Not the best for 11v11 Soccer
I really want to live this and give it a chance and hoping it gets the updates it needs to improve but as of right now there are a lot of issues. I initially started using the 4ft tripod and right away I knew this would not work for 11v11. It would track whenever it felt like tracking. Does not track well when the pace is fast. Tried adjusting pan speed and angle with no luck. Finally bought the 13 ft tri pod and it works a ton better but still not good. It focuses on the wrong thing easily as opposed to tracking the ball. Just recently I used it for my son’s soccer tournament and did ok for 1 game which caught maybe 80% of it but the next game it would just focus on our sideline and would not go to the other side past midfield. I reduced the angle so it wouldn’t go to far turning the sideline and seemed to work better but still slow to track. I wanted to look like the hero for the parents on our team but looking more like a dud. Love that it streams live as I’m not able to be at all my son’s games but just wished all the bugs were fixed and tracks better. Right now I wouldn’t recommend this and would probably give it a 1.5 out of 10

Glitches
Even after updates, during usage at games, the XBot Go starts off perfectly but once paused during a timeout or stopped to move to another game… It begins to Glitch and move when and wherever it wants screwing up the recording.
So so
I would say the xbot is decent but needs a reliable tracking system for games when you are focused on one person and also I would say add a volleyball mode, and also jersey number even though I know it is in beta just doesn’t work at all
Needs Work
I purchased the Xbot Go Chameleon for use with 11 v 11 soccer games and the unit has a hard time keeping up with the action. Too many times it falls behind the ball and is missing crucial plays when players are moving at an accelerated pace.
The unit also seems to get distracted very easily by crowds surrounding any side of field or if another soccer ball is detected in the field of view. The last game I tried using the Chameleon in, the camera kept getting stuck on a second team warming up to the right side of field. I got so frustrated I took the camera down because it was becoming a distraction for me.
It might be that other sports camera use a cropped wide angle image to follow the action where this is physically moving based on separate AI camera. I don’t know for sure but just speculating.
I had used it in a smaller scenario for Soccer practice and it seems to handle that better but for bigger tournaments or busier games I’m not sure this will be able to keep up.
I’m hoping these things can be addressed with some future firmware updates and called out specifically if or when improved, otherwise the return on investment might not be realized.

Good idea but needs work
This app along with the gimbal is a good start
The following need to be addressed to make it better
1) allow for higher resolution recording. 1080 limits the quality for post production
2) allow manual zoom when recording games
3) set boundaries for the tracker to work within
4) allow mirroring of the screen to another device, like GoPro does. It’s difficult to see what you are recording when your phone is 10-13’ high. The tracker may not be capturing everything. This is when the remote will help to adjust tracking.
5) configuration should be testable to make sure it is setup correctly. For example, the recording angle may be too large or small and you won’t know until it’s too late when you are recording.
5) hardware problem, the gimbal is not water resistant.

Nice Jimbal
The best of this Jimbal is the Fallow me 2.0 technology and is for AI not Doub to get it. Today I record my son's soccer games with this great tool perfect for creators of content.
Doesn’t track the ball
Hey guys you need to update the Ai algorithm. It’s not tracking the ball. I am manually rotating it to focus on the ball… which defeats the purpose of an AI software doing it for me.
Not a very happy purchase

Target tracking/follow me /front camera
I have downloaded the latest version but don’t see options to unlock the recent features I have been trying to get support no response yet
