  • Older phone not supported

    1. Older iPhone 7 isn’t supported, video is choppy.
2.live streaming is not very user friendly.
    3. Basketball tracking is very poor. About a 75-80% success rate of follow.
    4. Timestamp on all videos. This is horrrible.
  • Excellent

Hands down the best product to record my child's games! Works as it should and is a very reasonable price. If you could add a pause button it would be even better!
  • This is way better than I expected

I bought the gimbal for a school PE department and we have tested it on iPhone with this app to record examination students performing in a range of games. Although it doesn’t appear to have the capacity for all games, we found football works well, though 90 minutes kills your phone battery so make sure you charge it at half time. Netball worked really well on the basketball setting and field hockey was brilliant on the beta lacrosse settings. Very versatile and much better value than something like Veo. I would love to see other sports added and I had two short periods where the recording failed, hence 4 instead of 5 stars but on the whole it’s the best thing for our situation.

  • Also works for Ultimate Frisbee

The results handling teams sports like ultimate frisbee are amazing. It sometimes gets confused because in ultimate frisbee after every point just like in football teams go to opposing sides but a small nudge via the Apple Watch app or remote control and all is well.

Would love to get an internal scoreboard feature and clean HDMI but overall 5 out of 5 stars!

  • Yeah, this was BAD. If i could return, I would.

After using this for 2 seasons with my kids' two teams, I can NOT recommend this.

There are a number of issues with this while using for basketball.
    - Bluetooth disconnects a LOT, I've tried with 3 different iPhones. So while I'm coaching, all the sudden it will disconnect, stop recording and then just kinda droop there sadly as it no longer tracks. Worse is that sometimes it will flash the camera light as warning. Imagine a game going on and there's a cell phone cam on a tripod w a strobing light pointed at the court/players/officials.
    - Tracking is slooooow. If you're team that pushes and gets a lot of fastbreaks, you'll miss the action as it tries to catch up to the other side of the court.
    - it doesn't pan over far enough. for coaching, I need to see where all the players are on the court and what they are doing. So not only is the panning slow, but a lot of players will get cropped out.

For now, I prefer to stick a camera on a tripod and place it at the end of the court w a wide angle. Then move to the other end at halftime when they change sides. I ONLY use this if there's not enough baseline space.

Unfortunately, you only realize these issues after using it for a bit and then that takes you past the return dates. I would return if I could.

  • New update is bad.

I updated my app before my daughters game and it kept losing track of the game and just maintaining focus on one end of the field. It worked much better before the update. I had to keep re-adjusting it from my watch since the two remotes you sent me don’t work either.
  • The best

This is hands down the easiest way to capture a game
  • App is glitchy

I can’t set my edit settings, and videos won’t download to my photos to my phone.
  • Food for the price

I’ve been using this for few months now. It has a lot of issues at beginning but has gotten a lot better recently. Since the new update of the app, the tracking feels more natural and doesn’t move as fast from one side to the other. Keep improving!!!
  • Good for the price

I use this to record indoor and outdoor soccer. It captures about 75-90% of the action. It tends to get confused when there are people warming up ok spectators on the sidelines. This has potential and is much cheaper than other products. Latest update suggests supporting Bluetooth remote which hopefully allows you to control the gimbal when it’s distracted. I wish they’d make the actual remote available soon.
