Does not work

Still getting spam texts and calls from the same Mac loan scam artist. Have reported and blocked multiple numbers emails etc on multiple apps even 7726 which blocks them for a day till they spam on another number. What is the point of having a phone/text when you get nothing but harassed by scammers and these premium apps don’t really do much as they can’t keep up with the spoofed numbers/emails. This is for the trial doubt I will get premium as this does not fix my spam problem. And yes I have followed the apps install enabling call and txt block on the settings tab and using iOS 18.

NomoMax app losing calls and voicemails

This app only works the first time you utilize it and then doesn’t record anything anymore. Any unknown call is indeed silenced… but without knowing all business numbers. It’s silenced my TruGreen appointments due to personal cells being used.

All voicemails recorded in my phone as “missed” cause it was sent to nomomax. Then I go to nomomax, and there’s no detected phone call, no voicemail. But my iPhone said it was sent to voicemail. Have to reach out to customer support and they say to just delete the whole app, reset it up all over again. Which I did just now, of course the test phone call works it’s from the app provider. Then I get an unknown call noted as spam, sent to voicemail, and I go to check again. And nomomax lost the call in its records and has no history of a phone number I just received on my iPhone. I dunno what’s going on but it seems to mostly be blocking all calls and texts. I wonder what other important phone calls and text messages it’s blocked that I should have seen. Pretty frustrated with this since I paid for annnual subscription.

Hi Anthony, I just took a look at your phone number again, and it looks like call forwarding has been deactivated, so your calls are not being sent to us. For Nomorobo Max to work, the Conditional Call Forwarding must remain turned on through your carrier's settings. I'm going to send you some additional dial codes via email, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Filter function not as good as advertised

In the ~2 months I had this app, it silenced a bunch of scam/spam calls, which was very appreciated! It let one medical call through, but silenced all 3 delivery calls I received. Also relevant to note that this app does not filter spam/scam texts (nor does it claim to), but that’s a big issue for me, so I’ll be looking elsewhere for an app that can do that.

Our SMS filter identifies spam texts in the following ways: First, by phone number, matching it with our robocaller database of over 4 Million robocallers. Second, by URLs in the body of the text message. We have a growing list of suspicious URLs, as well as a list of URLs that are allowed and will never be identified as junk. TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE

I had hoped that the Nomorobo mobile service worked as well as its landline service, but despite there being a charge for it, I have seen no change in the number of spam calls coming to my cell phone. I have reported a couple of the spam numbers that have called me, but given that this is a service I am required to pay for, doing this makes me feel like I am just collecting data for a company that is supposed to be providing a service to me. I am very disappointed since I really hoped it would work and stop the distracting spam calls.

So tired of call and text scams! Last month a scammer tried to wire money from my bank to Pakistan! Fortunately I went to my bank and closed the account. I did have to open a new one which had its own set of hassles. But no money got transferred due to 3 layers of authentication.

This morning I accidentally found a video about Nomorobo and The Peoples Scam. I Immediately downloaded the app which was the easiest process ever! I am now all set to repel future scammers!

No Missed Call Notifications

I miss people trying to get ahold of me, businesses, that aren’t in my contacts because the App doesn’t show I’ve missed a call. And people in my contacts, when they call, I Don’t get a Missed Call Notification on the App. Then, either. 😬Nor that they left me a Voicemail. Why do my contacts have to go through Nomo? They didn’t on RoboKill. I’m NOT liking this App. This shouldn’t be Rocket Science programming 😳

Can’t complete setup

The app looks polished and working as far as I’ve gotten. After setting up call forwarding and all the next step has me turn on silenced unknown callers in my settings. Each time I go to settings, toggle the setting, return to the app it forces me to start from the beginning. It’s stuck in a loop. On T-Mobile with iPhone 14 pro max

This app is definitely worth the money I was getting anywhere from 10 to 15 Robo calls a day and as soon as I put this app it completely stop thank God I don’t have to change my work number.

Works great after a learning curve

I have been using regular version of Nomorobo for a couple years. It worked very good but a few calls would get through. Nomorobo Max is stopping about 99% of them. There was a learning curve in the beginning and some work to add people into my contacts. But it's working great and I tell people about it.
