J’ai acheté ça avant de partir pour vivre à l’étranger. J’ai pris le forfait le plus cher avec le cloud disponible. Le cloud ne fonctionne pas. Je leur ai envoyé un mail pour leur dire que cela ne fonctionnait pas. Ils m’ont demandé d’envoyer mais journaux d’activité, ce que j’ai fait, cela fait trois mois que je me bats avec eux en leur disant que j’ai envoyé les journaux d’activité et que rien n’a changé et que je souhaite un remboursement partiel au mois de mon cloud puisque je paye aussi le cloud de Apple depuis quatre mois puisque le Laure ne fonctionne pas alors que j’ai payé plus de 200 € et en gros il me disent que vu que les 30 jours de délai ont été dépassé, ils ne me rembourserons pas alors que leur application n’a jamais fonctionné et que depuis le début je me bats avec eux pour qu’il la répare. À fuir il existe maintenant maintenant de nombreux VPN. Si vous avez choisi celui-ci comme moi juste en fonction des vidéos YouTube que vous avez pu voir et des partenariats prenez-en un autre..

UI upgrade

Works fine. Uploading files is still needs stability. UI can’t be changed from light to dark mode, maybe that needa fix. And folders are great. But if there are ways to organize with color or lock individual folders would better.

Not working - media not downloading and stuck

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this dysfunctional app, I started using this app recently and I started uploading photos and videos, I noticed right away something I didn’t like there is no thumbnails, just a generic symbol for a photo/video, so you can’t tell what the media is you need to tap it to open. I then a video of 1.5GB to see if it would upload, it didn’t at first, unless I quit it from the background then finally uploaded with a green check, or so I thought I went to open to it and it says files over 50MB would need to be downloaded I tapped on it and the app just shows loading and then just quits. Not even giving me an option to download to my iPhone locally. This isn’t working correctly and now I can’t even get that file back. Overall, I’m not happy and hope this gets addressed.

Thank you for trying

I used NordLocker on my iPhone 12 pro max with iOS 17.1 and had no issues but recently I purchased a newer phone running iOS 18.2 and I can't even get the app to launch on it…

I know there are a lot of safety things at play from both sides and I greatly appreciate the work that is trying to be done but this app is most definitely not at the final point that it has the potential of reaching. I hope it gets there very soon!!

Suggested Improvements - MacOS and iOS

It would be great to see the following improvements: • Allow the uploading of multiple files. • Thumb drives that can sync NordLocker files, allowing for a local backup. • A physical backup of NordLocker files, held only at Nord’s headquarters in Panama. The capability to partition the MacBook SSD is great and becomes more important as Apple Intelligence rolls out. Great work with the other Nordvpn S.A Software.

Needs work

My biggest complaint is when downloading large files there is no progress bar so it is just a spinning wheel for 7+ mins and you don’t know how far along it is. Can’t let your phone go to sleep either so tapping every few minutes to stay on

No thumbnails.

I wanted to use Nord Locker to store image and videos. When the file names are in grid view there are no thumbnail of the picture so I have no idea what it is. You have to click on each individual file to view it and then afterwords a temporary thumbnail is created. Defeats the whole purpose of using it for photo storage.

This is not a replacement for iCloud Photos

I paid for the premium subscription in hopes to utilize the 2T of storage for photos and videos. Unfortunately they don’t automatically sync and the systems are not compatible for such a request. Don’t bother paying for the premium plan, they make it extremely difficult to get your money back after the 30 day, if you want just a VPN okay but don’t bother upgrading. I got ripped off and can’t even cancel.

Shady business

The support is at best incompetent and at worst malicious. You are basically on a chat bot merry-go-around. Their billing is similarly incompetent and bordering on fraudulent. They charge different currencies to those advertised, a concern I raised with them 2 years ago and they have failed to rectify the issue despite the usual platitudes of “your feedback is important to us”. If you have any concerns you just get platitudes and no actual assistance. They seem to put all their effort into affiliate marketing which is why they are popular and come up on searches a lot for best VPNs, and once they get your $$ they couldn’t care less. If you want a support service you can trust I would avoid. The locker is also rubbish.

Not perfect, but better than 1.6 stars

I just upgraded to Nord’s complete plan because Nordlocker felt like something I need. My heart sank when I saw all of the 1 star reviews, I almost thought I’d made a terrible mistake subscribing. But, after using it and reading through the version history release notes, it seems like most of the lacking functionality people complained about in the negative reviews has been updated in the past 12 months, with new releases dropping monthly, it’s a good sign that it’s being actively developed and improved! The UX feels a little clunky in places (e.g - adding photos / files feels quite hidden behind a fly out menu, when this should be a primary action for a vault). The UI is mostly native iOS, which makes it pretty easy to understand, but I sort of wish it had the same/similar design system language as Nordlocker, which feels a bit more polished, like a B2C app should be in 2024. All in all, just wanted to say it deserves a little more love than the 1.6 star rating. It won’t blow your socks off, and doesn’t feel up to par with NordPass, but those old reviews are out of date.
