  • Good But The New Update…

    So I got my first ever bracket 1 year ago and I love my sea turtle! I got some more over time and I was so happy to have more animals to track and knowing that buying the brackets went to a good cause. But then the new update rolls around and the app was working for a good couple of days until I went to go show my friend my dolphin. I click on the map and it says error so i brushed it off and didn’t think much of it. Then a week goes by and i’m surely thinking it was just a short error. So i go back into the app and I still can’t track my animals. I did some research to see if it was just me having the issues but no. Pretty much everyone is having this issue because of the new update. I can’t wait for it to be fixed so I can check up on all of my animals. ✨

  • Bracelet Quality

    I absolutely adore this app and the concept behind it! I check it all the time and have introduced multiple people to the app. The only thing is that both of my bracelets have broken, and I need to get something to restring it. I understand that they’re the stretchy kind of bands, so it happens sometimes. But my first bracelet broke in the middle of class, Im still not sure if I have all the beads. And the other broke not even 2 months after I bought it. Like I said, I love the app and will be continuing to use it, but I don’t think I’ll be buying another considering the fact that they break easily
  • This is some kind of scam

    So, my fiancé and my best friend both got me penguins to track. Awesome! For about 3 weeks…. One stops tracking and I’m automatically sent a new one. Cool. Second penguin stops tracking a week later. Again, got a new one. A little worried about these penguins losing trackers. When I lose another one a week later, they send another one which just happens to be the one I already have. Emailed support and they said, sorry we don’t have another penguin to track. What?!?! So there is only one penguin being tracked by the Global Penguin Society?!?! Then today, THAT penguin is no longer tracking so now I have NO PENGUINS!!!! They offered to follow another animal but what’s the point? I love penguins.
    Don’t waste your money. I’m thinking of reporting to BBB as a scam. So disappointing.

  • Used to love this but

    Disappointed that when trackers don’t work anymore they want you to buy a new bracelet instead of replacing your animal. My husband bought this for me as a gift and up until this I planned to buy some as gifts, but if this is how it’s going to be I’ll not waste my money

    Recently been informed by their team that tracking is guaranteed for “atleast” 6 months, and since this information wasn’t given upfront, I remain where I stand on this rating and I will not waste anymore money on these. I feel if you pay to track an animal, that perk shouldn’t only last such a short time. Not everyone is made of money and can buy new bracelets twice a year (im fully aware these aren’t very expensive but for it to only last “atleast” 6 months is a waste of a gift)

  • Can’t replace animal when it stops tracking

    So I got a penguin bracelet for Christmas, and not even a month and a half later it stopped tracking my animal, which was expected because my Mom has the penguin and had to get the replacement animal every couple of months, however now it’s not even an option to redeem a new animal when it stops tracking it. It took me directly to the shop to buy a new bracelet. With the old app, when it stopped tracking the animal it would give you a replacement animal to track, which was okay, but now it won’t even give you the replacement. So you buy a bracelet to not even get three months out of the animal and have to buy a new one when it randomly stops tracking. I have 7 bracelets that I have bought and before the update have never had a problem where it takes me directly to the shop, it would give me a replacement and it made it feel like it wasn’t a waste of my money because I was given another animal. If no new replacements are given, despite buying the bracelet, this is becoming a ripoff and super risky to buy any animal that goes in the ocean because those are always the ones that stop tracking. I’ve been a customer for a while and have bought 7 bracelets as well as getting my entire family and three friends into this and having them buy their own as well, but if this is the new thing, I won’t be buying another and recommend they do the same. I’m very upset, if I could give this 0 stars I would.

  • No way to contact Fahlo?

    My kids got bracelets for Christmas and they love to check on their animals. It really is fun to see how far they travel! But…. My daughter got a sea turtle bracelet and the transmitter stopped working so Fahlo automatically reassigned a different turtle. It updated almost every single day and it suddenly stopped and has not updated in 20 days. There is no way to contact Fahlo to report a bug or issue on the app. The buttons are there but not linked. Transmitters can stop working for a time if they get algae on them or something is blocking the signal. I’m hoping that either this turtle begins transmitting location again or my daughter gets yet another turtle assigned to her since she has only had the bracelet for less than two months.

  • Small bad things and lots of good things

    So the small bad thing is, is that the animal tracker or the animal dies. But the amazing good thing is they gave you new animal after it dies that way you didn’t just pay for an animal and then it just died or died but I’ve been using this app for a while and I love it I’ve been tracking a polar bear, a turtle, and a penguin, but that penguin just keeps going and going, I have other of my relatives has been also using this app and some of them are tracking shark, a turtle, a penguin a giraffe an elephant. You also get a bracelet when you track these animals and you get a cute animals that you can just watch every day. It just had a new update and the updates weird but you can click on your animal and I will tell you where if it has moved or not. So this is a really good app if you want to track a favorite animal or just an animal. Cause it also comes with the name that way you don’t have to name it so get this app

    The app is 4 months behind- which I understand because of poachers. But it does take away from the promised experience. They also pushed pretty hard to apply to be a brand ambassador and then they’re a little brutal when they turn you down. Maybe that’s not necessary? If I had been aggressive in asking to be an ambassador it would have been an okay response, but when they ask you enthusiastically and then tell you that you aren’t enough of whatever their special something is, well that is unpleasant.

    Still, a cute bracelet with an elephant on it goes for about what they charge, and it helps support a cause that I think is important.

    The app, NOT the cause, is what this review is for, and it is okay, I wish there was a way to better connect with the animal and to feel more involved. Ultimately, you could buy yourself any bracelet, and donate money to animal, conservation, and end up in about the same place.
  • cute app!

    i really love tracking my sea turtle Dobby! i see people complaining about having the same animal as a friend but there’s not an infinite number of animals out in the wild for them to track! also people are getting mad that their animal hasn’t moved in a few hours. it updates at around 3 in the morning each day for me and only once a day, not every hour. and yes, animals die guys. this isn’t new information. your animal will die eventually. it’s sad but true. so if your animal hasn’t moved in a month or so it likely died. they tell you that, so idk why people are frustrated at this. anyway, really love this! my friend got it for me as a gift so if you don’t know what to get a friend i recommend this. the bracelet is really cute too!
  • Used to have great customer service..but not now!

    My daughter has been collecting animal bracelets for a while now. Loves them! I have also purchase many for gifts. When an animal tracker stops working was then given a new animal to redeem. BUT not now! You have to purchase a new bracelet…seriously! One time I bought a bracelet and right away had to get a new animal..so that means you may never be able to get an animal from the new bracelet you purchase.

    Also for Christmas I ordered three bracelets and did not receive the shipment. Shows delivered but did not get delivered to me. I have contacted Fahlo many times through email and only get a response saying give them 24-48 hrs and they will contact me. NEVER do!

    Used to be my to go gift giving purchase and daughter requests. Not can’t trust this company anymore and no customer service. 😢
