App doesn’t work with new iPhone

How am I gonna spend $2.5k on lights that are advertised to work with an app but the app doesn’t even perform. On a brand new iPhone with the dynamic island, you cannot interact with the apps top left and top right buttons… which renders the app useless. Please, invest in a more updated app please

Lots of issues

I can’t even go back from one tube’s settings to the previous screen. The arrow won’t work to go back so I have to close the app and re open if I want to switch between tubes, very frustrating. I’m on iPhone 14 max. Also the settings don’t seem to save + you guys really need to make a master control where you can control all the lights at the same time so all their settings Mach instead of going back n forth between individuals.

We'll feedback your comments to our R&D team and improve the settings of the control interface subsequently. Actually, you don't need to close the App when you wanna switch to control another fixture, you can just put each fixture into different scene, and then control the fixture that you want in the scene interface. Also, each time you adjust the light parameters, you can add the settings to the Preset, so that next time you can easily control your light. Working Great So Far

I might update this if it becomes incredibly frustrating in the future, but with all the one and two star reviews I wanted to say that I just purchased 2 ProTube II 6Cs, and right out of the box I was able to easily connect and control them individually, and they worked great. Much easier to navigate through the app than the on light controls, though both are good, and if I’m setting up a scene, I’m glad I have a remote option, especially since I will likely be using these vertically, which would make using the built in controls difficult.

Maybe it’s just beginners luck, but to me it looks like the devs heard your complaints and worked to fix them. One effect I would love to see added, although I could probably choose a fade that would work, is a “Streetlight” mode. Like when a car is driving on a highway passing under streetlights.

Needs a revamp

The lights are really screwy and CCT mode doesn’t work at all.

Driving Mode Malfunction

Driving mode ambient dimming won’t work. I’ve cross checked all the other effect modes and dim works as advertised, but for some reason the drive mode won’t. Disappointing as I need that mode for a set and now I’ll have to rent. Debating returning.

The problem may be due to data issues between versions. And our R&D is struggling to solve this problem and improve the stability of the App. The problem can definitely be solved in the upcoming version. Bad app / great lights

The app hangs a lot, has the worst blue tooth connection. 10’ away and it will not connect, have to be 1’ away and reconnect several times before it connects back. Fix that and you got a perfect match.

Doesn’t work

App is a PAIN! Menu button is placed where phone’s clock is so it’s near impossible to click into the menu. It never saves profiles or auto connects to fixtures. You’ll be stuck deleting and re-adding your lights each time you want to use them. This app is sooooo unfriendly.

Developers - how about having devices auto connect, and make it easier to select changing settings individually or together. Your app is beyond frustrating and makes me suggest people buy Apurture RGB tubes over Nanlite Pavo.

It's suggested that you can download the Beta Version of Nanlink App, so that this problem would not exist. About the problem of connecting, usually after the first link, as long as the fixture has not been linked by other Apps and the Address Code of the fixture has not been changed, it can be directly reconnected again. Also, pls make sure that you have downloaded the latest firmware version for fixture. Besides, instead of closing the app, you can let the Nanlink App runs in the background of your mobile phone, so that the fixture will not be disconnected. If you have any other question, pls don't hesitate to mail support@nanlink.com. And we'll try our best to do better. We sincerely hope Nanlink App can help you more. Sorry for the problems again.

Unable to use app with pavotube 30x after iOS update

Hey guys, please fix the app so that I can use it again. Completely broken with 16.2

Effects not working

You guys have all the time to create new lights and new stuff but you don’t have time to fix your app … ????!! Most of the effects not working at all no matter what I do , uninstall reinstall turn off and on, emailed the support never answer me back .. like wow your equipment is not cheap and the support is awful

Fun light!

I’ve used a couple tube lights for photography without using the app. They’ve added some amazing effects to my photos. I downloaded the app and am mesmerized with all the different effects that can be done with them. The lamp without the effects was worth it, but with the effects takes it to another level: passing street light effects, pulsing, color changing, etc. Highly recommend!
