I've given this app a 5* eview as it is a fantastic piece of work. I've built a small network with two repeaers arund the town and it provides a relaibel messaging platform.
I have one issue, I can't get notifications to appear on my iPhone when a message appears. I have everything set to "On" banners the lot, but still no notifition or even a beep.

Stop updating firmware
I have had to stop using these devices as due to the amount of time the app and firmware has to be updated it takes a whole day to go out to the felids to retrieve, update then reset up only to have to repeat this again and again. Will through all devices away and find a different solution. I don’t recommend this system as clearly just for a kids hobby project

Not usable beyond basic demo
It works at first but users will quickly learn few of the configuration features are functional. It is a waste of time.
There is no way to setup a private channel because it cannot use the camera to scan QR codes. I’m returning all my meshtastic gear until it can be used by my friends with iOS.

very impressive app
Been waiting a long time for this and it doesn’t disappoint! There are a few glitches on iPad (messages not showing up until refresh, QR code not working) but I use iPad mostly for testing and iPhones would be used in the field. My two wishes are 1) if it worked on my older iOS 15 devices; 2) ability for iOS to set time on the device when GPS or RTC isn’t available.

Exciting, but have questions
I'm really excited to start using Meshtastic. Just got this up on TBeams and an Echo. I did notice that I have to constantly close out my app to detect my device after a device reboot. Is that normal? I've waited more than 10 minutes to reconnect. Is it possible to rescan for devices with a pull to refresh?

Please upgrade to app version 2.0.7. You can swipe left to disconnect a device, there is no pull to refresh functionality anywhere in the app. The app is either connected to a device or scanning for devices to connect to, there was a display bug in 2.0.6 if your device was disconnected when it went out of BLE range.
