We'll always let you know in the offer description before redeeming if a reward is subscription based (and how to cancel it so that you can get the offer without having to be tied to a subscription!). However, if you'd rather avoid these, we are trying to source more 'freebie' type rewards - so keep an eye out for them! 👀 It is definitely possible to grab a gift card but they are veeerrrry popular and tend to get snapped up quickly. We have other rewards available if you miss out on one though... auctions and mystery boxes also contain gift cards, so if these are top of your wish list, check them out 👌

US pending for a year?

Hey there, sorry to hear you're disappointed. Right now, if you’re outside of the UK you can donate Gener8 points to charities (let us know if there are any charities you’d like to see on Rewards!). We will expand more rewards to other regions in the near future, so watch this space. We have some big plans pending 👀. We're big on giving people the choice to share and earn from their data. At any point you can pause and resume the features on the Gener8 App (give us a shout if you need a hand with this!).
Good concept but rewards are not worth it
As other people have said it’s 3rd party discounts and offers and most of them lock you in for subscription so you have to watch out and cancel before you get charged.
Also these offers are not worth paying 5 points or whatever the ask is. Free hello fresh 1st box or Virgin wine 14£ wine tasting set are already available from those vendors without generate points so why would I spend my points on that?
As someone mentioned the only useful things are gift cards which are scarce and near impossible to get.
At this point you can’t get much in rewards so not worth sharing your data with gener8.
