I still think Caroline Hirons is pretty amazing but I deleted the app. Not for me.
Fantastic app
Some pages are broken and I wasn’t sure where to put that feedback. Milia page needs a fix as it’s not go the information updated
My go to before buying
However, since upgrading to the new app, I find it glitchy. I can’t tap and open some products I want to read about which is frustrating.
When I add more filters to look at products with a particular ingredient, eg peptides, add my profile and Caroline’s approved products, the app says there are 39 products to view but when I click on it, no products appear.
I understand apps are always being updated so wanted to mention this.
I’d also like to have a filter for types of products, eg cleansers with a filter for fragranced/fragrance free and filter balms, oils, creams etc
I still love the app overall for information I can read and products I would never think to look at or purchase

Hello, The free version of the app will still be regularly updated with content on a weekly basis and enhanced with new features in 2024. You will still have access to our comprehensive, growing library of over 23,000 products as well as educational content on The Column, including (but not limited to) some of your favourites, such as Beauty News, our Think Science™ glossaries and skincare guides. Hello, The free version is great for skincare beginners looking to find products suited to their skin and brush up on all of the education a novice might need, whilst the Premium subscription is perfect for self-proclaimed skincare aficionados, providing you with access to everything available on the free version of the app, plus the following features: Exclusive Caroline Hirons content in our dedicated CH Says section, the re-birth and continuation of Caroline’s original blog. Exclusive content on The Column, including all of our expert-written product reviews, First Impressions, Desk Diaries, Testing Shelfs and more. Advanced filtering options allow users to filter products by Price and ‘Founder Favourite’ The ability to bookmark your favourite or must-read articles for later viewing. Friendly user interface + Informative
The explanations of ingredients are its strong point- very transparent, balanced and explained simply without sacrificing detail.
The product reviews are fairly unremarkable, and the Skin Rocks products are hailed above all else (unsurprisingly), but the feature where you can save and review the products you own is a nice touch.
I sincerely wish there was an option to download articles for offline viewing.
