Hi! I am almost a teen and trying to keep acne under control. I was recommended the app by a family member, and I recommend this app to people as well. The articles from dermatologists are very helpful and I know I can trust this app. My only problem is that I wish there was more options for me to use of certain products. I know that the app may be filtered and directed for middle-aged woman, but it would be great if there were more options and recommendations for teens like me. This is due to compliance rules - unless a product specifically states that it is targeted for pre teen/child, the age bracket starts at 16+. Caroline Hirons is great and I love where she’s going here. However the QA of the app was very poor as the app is full of bugs. First I couldn’t create an account - was stuck in a loop where it would give me an error about ticking T&Cs but once T&Cs were ticked it didn’t allow me to progress to create account with email. When I finally got in with a long winded workaround, the app lacked proper onboarding (this admittedly not a bug). Another bug was that all the products I hearted didn’t end up showing up in neither of the two lists… Also (not a bug) but would be nice to filter sunscreens by mineral vs chemical.Show lessjudita
Necessary for any skincare freaks
I absolutely adore this app. Not only can I create my own profile and get recommendations, I can save items I want to try, and use the app when shopping to remind myself what will/won’t work for my skin. It also gives amazing reviews of new products - where I can either get the short version (You Need/You Don’t Need) or the longer explanations, so I am not having to try things just because they are new. I think I use it now more than my other beauty shopping apps, or at least as much as because I am always comparing the two for shopping.Show lessRaeB

Feedback is reviewed regularly so that we can establish where this improvement might be implemented. Fab little app. Easy to use and everything at your fingertips. Saves searching the website.
I would love to see the ability to personalise the AM and PM routines where I can pin products I like. At the moment I write out the list so I can see what products filter under each category cleanser, serum etc.

For the products , for the information, for taking the guesswork away. I have mature skin and it’s a great resource for helping me find the most suitable products and being able to save them for reference is great. I really love the app, my only bug bear is that the filtering out section could be more comprehensive. For example I can’t use the ingredient niacinamide on my skin and there is no way to avoid getting skincare suggestions that don’t include this. So I end up finding a ‘match’ for my skin type and then I have to scroll to the bottom to realise it has an ingredient I can’t tolerate. So a feature that can help remove that hassle would be amazing!!Show lessDeboraWishford

This app is great for any skincare-junkie who wants the lowdown on product information fast.
The reason for 4 stars is that I think the information may be pretty overwhelming for people new to skincare.
I know there are brands on there that Caroline doesn’t recommend that are on there. I understand why, but if you don’t already know which brands to steer clear of you could end up confused and could end up purchasing st ives (god forbid!)
I also can’t access the articles for some reason? Not sure if it’s my fault because I haven’t updated my phone.
Overall, great for those with decent skincare knowledge. Potentially confusing for those starting out and trying to figure out what a good core routine looks like.

This app is pure ‘chef’s kiss’. I have followed Caroline for years (her advice got rid of my adult acne), what this woman doesn’t know about skin isn’t worth knowing, and now it is all at our fingertips in a handy app.
LOVING the products section, it even tells you which products are cruelty free which is hugely important to me and determines whether I buy or not.
