Addictive choose your own adventure
I’ve played 8 times already and I’m tempted to go back for more. It’s a beautiful storyline, and the endings were really unique and fitting. The hunting grounds got a little monotonous after the 4th time, but that’s to be expected. The surprising storylines kept me coming back to learn more about this fascinating world. I loved being able to choose different characters/clans and traits. Thank you, Jeffrey Dean!Great Choose Your Adventure
Ended this game with one of the most satisfying endings I've ever gotten for a first try. Will do a replay again with Malkavian clan. Got the DLC because of the option to talk to Lucca more, and glad I did because it means a more free option to a better and crazier ending with each replay.A good story well told
Picked this up on a recommendation from a friend, knowing little about the setting or the RPG. It’s really well written with lots of branching story paths begging to be explored on future re-reads. I won’t get into the plot here since others have covered it.
I do have two criticisms, both related to the engine/app. These are not deal breakers by any means, but they would improve the experience.
First, even on dark mode, there are white UI elements. This is quite distracting in a dark room. They are not present on the iPad version, so I’d recommend using that instead of an iPhone.
Second, there is no option to go back a page or two. I don’t think the game should let you change your choices, but it would be nice to be able to re-read the last few pages.
