3 Days into using as a parent and already annoyed at the UI and UX issues
When another parent creates an exception for you to pick up their child, it does not show up in the “Today’s dismissal” section and only lets you know the other parent did what they need to do correctly once you check-in. If I want to know before hand, I just have to pray that everything is right and whatever god you believe in has it right - cause you sure won’t be able to tell it’s right in the app.
Overall, there are multiple confusing sections and options in the parent app which should be pretty simple. SDM needs to work on cleaning up their options and presenting them to the end user better.

Update: the school hasn’t been able to give me any information as to why the app is not work and has said I’m not the only one having issues

Hi Cy, your school will give you your account information once they have created your account. Be on the lookout for emails or other communications from them.

Hello! Sometimes schools have to reset a parent's login credentials from the front office. If the problem still has not been resolved, we would be happy to reach out to your school's front office on your behalf.

Hi Val, if your phone is having trouble maintaining connection, switching from Wi-Fi to cell data can help. However if the problem persists, ask your front office about installing Wi-Fi signal boosters or having a staff member check you in.
