Someone gave them permission to be direct, and if you’re not talking right or sure of what you need, metro will hang up on you. All you have to do is get your inquiry straight, call back, and speak professional/respectful. No quantity time on phone lines. Just ask what you have need of quickly, get your answer, and go. It’s a real pain in the but when you’re sad, depressed, or overwhelmed, and need help because of impromptu surprise right away, that hurts even more, but there’s usually several other callers on the line. Understand and you’ll get the advice you need, and not have to miss busses that don’t run every 10 minutes. It hurts to have to wait another hour for an hourly that you miss. Ow. Even half hourlies. Ouch.
