It doesn’t repeat the same numbers one after another but it does repeat the same group of numbers a lot

The app generates truly random or consecutively unique numbers (opt-in). What you want is not considered a random number, but rather exhaustive randomization or shuffled sequence selection. This feature is not supported by the app.
Not random
I tried Randa, to generate a cubic die, by setting the minimum at 1 and the max at 6. I noticed that the second number generated was never the same as the first. Maybe that’s because the button is labeled “ CHANGE.” But that’s not random: when throwing a pair of dice, doubles occur with probability 1/6. To be sure, I changed the max to 2 and generated a boring sequence: 1,2,1,2,1,2,…. which is clearly not random, like a coin toss!

This is fixed in the latest update (1.2.1). I had accidentally enabled the numbers to be consecutively unique (meaning, it would ensure each number is different from the previous). This behavior is now opt-in.
