There is a database with hundreds of thousands of foods and their sodium amount. I use in app purchases to enable future development of the app and keep it up to date. If the notes app works well for you then you are welcome to use that instead.Very basic
It would be nice if it would look up foods for you without paying extra. Also once you add an item if you could use it again without typing it all in again. Very elementary app.Peachy.one
No Healthkit integration
Why would I use (much less pay to use!) an app that requires manual input of my sodium intake with NO OPTION to read that data from the built-in app which already exists to do that same function?
I wanted to use this app’s widget functionality to keep tabs on my sodium intake after scanning foods into MyFitnessPal (which saves all the food’s nutritional info into Apple Health) since that app doesn’t have a widget that shows specific nutrition data, but if I have to input that info in manually, then I have no use for this app.

Hello, you can adjust the daily allowance if you tap on the pencil icon on the day you want to change. In settings you can adjust the default daily allowance which is what each day will start on. I decided to subscribe to sodium tracker pro but it looks like I still have the basic with no data base. Not sure how to get this changed. 😏Nana Becky R

Hello, I've not had any reports from other pro users of this - if you have subscribed and are still seeing the paywall screen please tap "restore purchases" on that screen under the subscription options and you will unlock the pro version you've subscribed to.
