  • Gets the job done

I’m an actor and I find characters and record them through this software and it works every time for me.
  • How does it add up

So the in app purchases need more transparency, it shows 3 different $3.99/monthly subscription options

Or an $14.99 fee to unlock all features.

What is the benefit of a monthly subscription as opposed to a onetime charge to unlock all features.

Also I couldn’t help but notice the programs total size totals out to be less megabytes than a low quality cd-r which is 700megabytes but the promises of High quality are defying scientific data for instance had bluerays take up tremendous amount of space ex 50gigabytes, 100 gigabytes etc so if production of hd data audio or video increases tremendously the higher levels of quality that are achieved how does an audio editor/effects processor produce grandiose quality audio if the software/ drivers resources etc contain less binary bits of code or data than a single music track? Also this same app is offered in Microsoft store with the same file size but it’s priced at $99.00

Why is there an extreme price difference for identical products when the ms store just utilizes the windows subsystem for android to run the exact same package as the mobile dev but virtually on a pc, why is one product whether it’s ported, compiled or emulated more expensive from Microsoft store when the ms store and mobile app stores have identical storage requirements. This is price gauging

    Developer Response

Hello. The in app purchases should describe what each upgrade will be for, one will unlock all features, another will unlock only the output formats another will unlock only the effects. If you do not see a description for the options you are presented with, you are welcome to report this by creating a support ticket here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html. The difference between the subscription and the one time charge license is that with the subscription, you will be able to download and install any new version of the program that is released as long as the subscription is active. The one time charge license or lifetime license only comes with 12 months of free upgrades, after that if a new version of the software is released you will not be able to use that unless you upgrade the license, but you will be able to keep using the versions of the software that are compatible with the license you own. Regarding the size of the executable file, this does not affect the type of files the program can handle or output. The program relies on your computer or device hardware to handle and output high quality files. You are welcome to download and test the trial versions of our software to confirm this. Regarding pricing, the MS Store is a set price and is actually cheaper in a sense, as the original price for the versions we sell on our website is $129.99. The difference in pricing you see is because on our website we run promotions every day which sometimes means it will be cheaper and pricing in the MS Store is set to $99 which is also cheaper than the price without discount in our website. The price does not affect the quality of the software in either platform.
  • No tone generator

Fairly comprehensive set of tools, but even with the paid version, there is no way to generate tones (the way you would with, for example, Audacity).
