  • Powerful photo browser and editor

Came to this from Raw Power and it is first rate. Evokes a lot of the feeling that Aperture did. A nice way to screen photos while traveling.
  • Solid Raw processing

I’ve been a fan of Gentlemen Coders previous app – “Raw Power” to process my raw images for over 10 years. Just heard about Nitro and decided to give it a test. Once I wrapped my head around the new layout, I can see where I like Nitro better. Nitro runs leaner than Raw Power. Raw Power was always the BEST raw processor for the Mac. Nitro adds a fresh quicker build that makes Nitro even more user friendly.

  • Great app with some issues

Bumping down my rating simply because of the constant nagging to rate the app each time opening it. Even though I have the global iOS setting that does not allow this.

The app is great and familiar for anyone who also used Raw Power. There are some annoying issues. Like asking me each and every time I load the app to provide a review even after having purchased and have given a rating. Hopefully now that will stop. The app quits frequently enough either when loading a basic RAW image or while editing. Not always but often enough that it is noticeable. And some of the editing is a bit finicky at times or has screenflow issues making some controls impossible to use unless quitting and reopening the app. That said it is feature packed and available on the phone iPad and Mac. Making it a great way to edit across the ecosystem. Look forward to future updates to help stabilizing things a little more.
