came back to the app after a while and it has changed
i swear 90% of the functionality is just gone. it just autogenerates for you now. i used to love to play around with gradients and really fine tuning the mesh. disappointing
Big mistake
The purpose of the app is to make my own unique wallpaper you should at least give us a choice wither we want it randomly or doing it on your own I hope you bring back the old experience and thank you.
Please bring back the 3D
The 3D generator was limited, but I loved it. I couldn’t care less about the gradients.

Amazing App
This is a great app for making mesh gradient wallpapers, I'm not aware of anything coming close to the ease of use and versatility of Acrylic. The new functionality of animated/video wallpapers is a welcome surprise, but my favorite part about this app remains being able to export high quality 8K mesh gradient images.

It’s fine
I loved making my own meshes but all of my saved meshes aren’t usable in this app anymore. I used it to make album art for Apple Music playlists. It’s now just a random wallpaper generator now which is fine if you didn’t use the app for what it was before.
Fix your app
I used to love Acrylic, but it no longer works on Mac.

Good concept
This is a really interesting concept and is clearly quite a well built app (smooth, fast etc).
I think it has a lot of potential and as someone who only uses gradient wallpapers for my Home Screen I was excited to use it. However when you save the image it’s a little grainy. If you look at UI gradients (website) the gradients are very smooth whereas this app when downloaded has lots of little lines. Not sure if there is a way to have sharper/smoother downloaded images.

Hi, I’m glad you are enjoying the app. You can increase the subdivisions at the end to improve the quality but the best way to avoid it is to not put points too far across each other. If that doesn’t solve it, email hi@ethanlipnik.com
