The Courageous Kids app has been so much more effective than I anticipated. My anxious 4 year old has been suffering a lot with distressing kinder drop-offs, so I personalised a story including photos of him playing happily at kinder and being picked up at the end of the day. He absolutely loves it and asks to read it together every night before bed! Drop offs are slowly getting calmer and easier as a result.

Effective for separation anxiety
We used this app to help prepare our son for starting school and to ease his separation anxiety. We found it really helpful and it has clearly been designed with a lot of care and consideration of tools to help families set up their kids for success.
Great social story app
I love using this app to teach families how to write social stories. It gives lots of examples to families that helps them to build their confidence and they can then personalise the stories by tweaking the words (or completely writing a new story) and adding in their own photos or images. An incredibly handy tool for therapists and parents!

SO COOL!! Great help for my 5yo
I have a sensitive five-year-old girl and have been using the stories in this app to prepare her for starting school.
Not only does she love the stories and seeing herself in them, she is now clearly less nervous about starting school.

Customisation
I love the customisation available in this app. I will chat through what social situation we need to work on with the school or OT, and then I can customise a social story (including actual images from my phone) to prepare that will be specific to our experience. It’s a huge help with preparation, preparation, preparation!

Courageous kids makes it quick and easy to support the kids in my life for difficult moments and new experiences. The stories are easy to edit, and there is a great variety. I love that I can add my own pictures as well for extra personalization!
