Stole $4000 from me
I used Plastiq to pay a vendor $4000. The transaction fee was an additional $116. WEEKS after I initiated the transaction on Plastiq, the vendor still had not received the payment. Plastiq customer support now claims they can’t find my transaction - despite it showing up on my dashboard (I have screen shots and a transaction number from their platform). The money was withdrawn from my account. I am now working with my bank to recoup the money. I now believe Plastiq is a scam.

If you guys advertise what you say you advertise then you should follow through. You guys are risking people being out on the streets with your last minute and abrupt refunds and cancelations. I’d be better off using money orders.

Not recognizing my connected banks
I’ve been trying to submit a payment for the last hour. No one to talk to when it goes south.
Annoying. Both the web page and app. App looks smooth as far as UI goes.
