  • Basic things on this app don’t work

The profiles at the top are being cut off. If Danielle has been an “App Developer “ all this time how is it that basic UI issues haven’t been addressed in the apps 4 years of release? Where’s the onboarding I have no idea how to use this thing. You can’t be a “CEO” of a failed app with no users.
  • Great Concept, Many Hiccups

I was genuinely excited to download this app, hoping it would improve how I manage and enhance my fashion choices using the pieces I already own. The concept is fantastic: an intuitive platform that suggests outfits, tracks wardrobe items, and offers styling tips tailored to my preferences. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing since the app has many glitches :(
  • Still undecided on this App

I love the idea of this app - I definitely need help with clothing recommendations but photographing all my clothing is going to be quite time consuming. Plus there are a lot of keystrokes to add an item.
It would be great if we could add items to our wardrobe form online clothing websites like the app Pureple!
I’ll continue to use until the month is up and then decide my final thoughts.
  • Needs a LOT of work

I really love the idea of this app but unfortunately the execution is nowhere near where it needs to be. First off, instead of taking individual photos of everything in my wardrobe, I wish I had the option to grant the app permission to sync with my email and import clothing and shoes based on my purchase history. Second, the “outfits” do not seem to be based on any sort of sensible AI or algorithm. It’s just random combinations of items from each category (shoes, top, bottom, etc.), and seems to recycle the same 10-15 items out of probably 75 that I loaded into the app. And if you have anything under the hat category it will put a hat with EVERY outfit. I think the outfit generator part needs a lot of work, including the ability to specify what you are trying to dress for (work, brunch, athleisure, etc.). I found myself wanting more specific categories available to me (for example cardigans, since those would be paired with a top underneath while a sweater seems to count as a top in and of itself). For now, I have canceled my subscription because I spent way too much time adding items from my wardrobe and was getting absolutely nothing out of it. Perhaps I will try again once it has been up and running long enough to incorporate feedback and make improvements.
  • Meh

I thought it would take my wardrobe, use AI and find me sick ways to build an outfit. Nah, it’s another social media site. Build in an AI component that builds be outfits and I’ll pay 3 bucks a month but otherwise. No thanks.
  • Needs some refinement

Getting an MVP to launch is no small feat, however given the app has been live for a few months now there’s no reason to have a buggy onboarding flow. It’s also not entirely clear what you’re supposed to after you hit the homepage.
  • Amazing!

I am thoroughly enjoying using this app. It is very easy to navigate. I love seeing all of the new styles and trends. I can’t wait to hire a stylist especially when I am traveling and need guidance on packing.
  • An absolute lifesaver

I truly have a shopping and then, once purchased, an organizational problem leaving my closet chaotic at best. I am so thankful for this app to organize my brain around outfit choices and inventory so I can start my day stress free and looking my best!
  • Glitchy mess

After multiple attempts to upload images that finally weren’t fuzzy and then being frustrated by the app’s glitches, I gave up. I tried to use the pre-set item descriptors and save my items, but the program would either change the category (ex- shirt suddenly became pants) or the colors would be changed. It didn’t seem to matter that I had saved an item in one category, the app put it in another. This would then affect the “suggested outfits” because it would put two shirts together having assumed one was a skirt. Ultimately though, who has time to photograph and itemize every piece of clothing in their closet?? I’m out.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the feedback, and we appreciate you participating in our beta program. We encourage you to check out the app again now that we have done the official launch- it includes fixes to many things you described. Totally get that photographing every item is tedious. Some people hire wardrobe organizers to do that, other people just do it one day at a time. And some people just use the app for fashion inspiration and checking out what their friends are wearing.
